Wtf is the minimum age to become a Thai prizefighter???

Last night at Max Muay Thai in Pattaya, the young Muay Thai fighter aged 14 years old got a technical knocked out in round 2 by the Spanish fighter aged 25 years old. He got hurt badly from round 1 to round 2 until the ref. stoped the fight. He got 2 KDs and his nose was breeding from elbow attacks and I think that the ref. made the right thing to stop it. If the fight had continued, he would have been sent to the hospital nearby. I just hoped that young warrior would be O.K.

 

youre an interesting cat, cst. i think youre in the process of figuring out who you are. most people dont really want to know, and live their whole lives not knowing, who they are. on a deeper level, the way one wants to know a spouses mind and heart. like, what your insecurities, weakness, fears, vices are, and why they are there, and how they affect how you interact with the world.
a person who does not know who they are is a constant hypocrite cause they have no base from where to anchor truth from, other than their level of discomfort at any given time. there is no consistency other than whatever makes the moment less uncomfortable. they will contradict themselves tomorrow on a different discussion involving a new set of players.
i could do a post history on some of the posters on esb and know more about who they really are, than they know about themselves. not all, but enough.

I agree with you and like your post a lot. Same with CST's.

However, I have to say that you really can't infer too much from posters on a forum, no matter how much they post for how many years. Unless you be exchanging messages on the reg with them and talk personal, in which case it's no longer a forum connection it's a "You've Got Mail" connection (pretty awkward).

CST's post is easy for me to relate to. The very few handful of times I've talked about a real matter or brought up a personal story or whatever, I get hated on pretty heavy. Am I being honest? Am I retroactively fantasizing? What does that say about those responding? Too many variables. And once you know this awkward medium of the internet, even more so.

I mean, if I tried to infer about others based on 8 years of watching their posts, I would conclude that Boxed Ears was Eddie Murphy.

 

He's too young to fight against the adult. He should have fought the guy at the same age.

 

thats why i said, enough. for a very basic example, when i come across an overzealous fan, like me with mikey, perhaps, check my arguments on why hes so great, and compare them with my other favorite fighters and all other fighters across the board, and you start to see a trend in motivations for my fandom. if they start to lean racially or nationalistic, then you get a clue as to my motivations, insecurities, methodology, etc... now you have a pretty solid base from where to decipher all my future posts and either strengthen or discard the current profile you have of me.
this is so second nature to me that my mind does it automatically with anyone i bother with remembering. rarely does anyone i know surprise me.

 

You know who I feel bad for in all this, the 22 year old who got his ass kicked by a 14 year old. How demoralizing must that be? Like losing a race to a guy with no legs.
