If Fury was dedicated and professional I'd agree. But he is weak-minded and thus always vulnerable.

Parker has better defence than Whyte.

Yep Tyson Fury is the best in the world at making homophobic comments , making sexist comments, doing coke, being a lard butt and running like a woman when ever he steps up in class.

Tyson Fury passes the eye test as the number 1.

But he only has 2 elite wins on his resume, so he wouldnt necessarily be ranked as number 1. Being the first to pop Wlad's cherry after he was undefeated for 10 years is elite. As is beating Wilder in his own backyard.

He needs more wins over top 10 contenders.

And, one year from now, will Usyk have at least one fight at heavyweight?

Obviously. If anyone doesn’t have Fury as number one then there’s something seriously wrong with that person. He clearly beat Wilder. The only other argument at the moment is Ruiz, and he has less runs on the board than Fury.

So, who has more elite wins than Fury? No one. He is number one. Joshua arguably has a better resume but he lost his last fight.

It really depends on what you define as elite doesn’t it?

Whyte is top 5 now, and is elite. But whether AJs win over him is elite is questionable because both were green.

Likewise when AJ beat Parker, that was a win over another champion. However again people will question whether that win is elite given his subsequent loss to Whyte.

Would you even define AJs win over Wlad as an elite win? Given Wlads age, his ring inactivity and him already being beaten by Fury and looking terrible against Jennings

However, AJ undoubtedly has more wins over high Calibre HWs than Tyson Fury does.

Okay, I accept all that. So that means there is zero doubt that Fury has the best resume. Why did you say he needs more wins to be number one in that case?
