Yeah lets hope Horn does fight at light=middle after he beats Zerefa,Pacquios performance on the weekend makes it hard not to appreciate and be impressed what Horn did and the way he was able to beat him.
While he obviously isn't as good as he was,he showed that he was still 1 of the best and again proved wrong those who tried to minimize Horns performance because Pacquio was supposedly just a shell despite the fact he was the best welterweight in the world when Horn beat him.
I've always rated Tim Sheens 1 of the most innovative and best coaches ever,I may be a little bias as I was a huge Laurie Daley and Raiders fan back in the day,it wasn't just that they were winning it was how they were doing it as 1 of the most attacking sides ever constantly racking up 50 points in games.

 

Deluded If you are impressed by non stop fouls shocking officiating and judging than good for you. If Horn were to fight either Pac or Thurman in Las Vegas he would get absolutely annihilated.

Sure there's plenty of Pacquio fans will agree with you about the decision of the fight but nobody cares about your blatantly biased opinions against Horn

I'm far from a cheerleader for Horn,you just don't like that i just call you out on all the pathetic lies and bull**** that you keep repeating constantly in every Horn thread,i support all the aussie boys but i'm not a hater or fan boy like you and i'm able to see things for what they are and usually i'm up front about any bias i may have.

Speaking of Dave Light, he's fighting a 7-1 Mexican next month which is rather dissapointing. Thought he'd have less-yet-bigger fights from here on to build on the Flanagan win.

 

He'll have to get a bigger promoter to take him further. Peach Boxing will only take you so far in terms of opponents. It's a shame Duco aren't really interested in anyone other than Parker and Horn. They could do a lot for boxers in this part of the world if they showed more interest in the sport.

* DDP Nov card taking shape. Ben Mahoney is fighting .
* Daniel Lewis AM rival Blake Bomber Wells added as co feature for Wild Fighter
Bairnsdale show Oct 12.
* Damien Hooper is suppose to be getting out of jail next month. Wonder what plans
Matt Rose has planned and if he kept in shape and can still make LHW ?
* Joe Cammilleri date confirmed and opponent to be locked in. I assume its the
Bendigo card.
* Fortitude Gym fighters Ben Kite and Conor Wallace are to resume fighting again
on Sept 14 and then again on Nov 9.
* Mick Francis ahead of his inaugural promotion at Luna Park has stated that Fox
has many new dates opening up for boxing which would i be grateful once the
Nrl season finishes.

 

The key to these Foxtel shows is to stack them with the best young talent in the country. That's what we've got coming up in the next month commencing on Saturday night. It's great seeing young Jai Opetaia getting the opportunity to headline a nationally televised show.

Clearly a lot of thought has gone into who appears on these promotions & who they are matched with. The young blokes need regular fights against decent opposition in order to progress their careers and boxing fans want to see competitively matched fights in order to tune in. Foxtel are setting a high standard with these next three shows that they need to maintain into the football off-season.

I'd go so far as to say that boxing could take over the football off-season if presented properly. The true national game, cricket, is on the nose in this country. The players are prima-donnas & people are sick & tired of the same old same old. Regular professional boxing shows could be a breath of fresh air on the summer sports landscape. Like these next three we've got coming up, they need to be shows that are worth watching though.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the young blokes who are fighting on Saturday night, but in particular the Australian Junior Middleweight title fight between Daniel Lewis & Wade Ryan. We might see a new star of Australian boxing emerge in that one after only three pro fights.
