    Lets be real here. Golovkin was scheduled to fight Canelo, not Vanes. Canelo booked a fight with clen before that and lost, putting the second Golovkin Canelo fight to rest for that time period. If Canelo doesn’t pop dirty, there is no Vanes fight.

    Lots of fighters have an easier fight before a money fight. Canelo fought James Kirkland before Cotto and Chavez Jr before Golovkin.
