Very happy for big David Price, I felt for him when he said in that interview his kids were getting stick and taunts about their dad being knocked out.

Funny thing is, these kids don’t realise David Price has much bigger balls than all their dads out together and would absolutely batter them.

Hopefully we continue to see him do well.

It would be nice for Price to earn a little bit of money from the sport before he leaves, a big fight at the Echo or something.

    It feels like longer!

I think another part of his appeal is that he is the perfect undercard fighter. You would always rather watch Price in a fight where there could be a KO at any time than the typical prospect vs an overmatched Latvian fight or some British midget fighting a South American midget for 12 rounds for the IBO continental silver belt.

    100%

I remember for Beijing 2008 when Amir Kan gave his opinions on the squad he described Price as 'battle hardened.'

Wonder what you would describe him as now?

The Thompson and Teper KO's were strange as I thought he'd have been able to take those punches. The Hammer fight was just him gassing, the Povetkin KO was brutal and the Kuzmin retirement was him lacking fitness and belief, I think. He could have beaten Hammer though, definitely culd have beaten both Thompson and Teper and had he had more self belief I think he could have beaten Povetkin and Kuzmin, all what ifs and maybes but it wasn't like he turned up for 6 fights and was just a punchbag, he made Povetkin look like a clown for a brief moment.

Someone said about the Teper fight and I think it’s absolutely perfect for him. If he can beat a now “clean” Teper and avenge some of those demons surrounding him we may see a different beast.
