I suggest you reconsider. This was a panel of boxing writers and historians from the Ring Magazine which ranked the best 20 boxes since WW2 and this was back in 2014 before PBF even fought Pac. Where is Pac on this list? After all he's a warrior right??? Why is PBF ranked ahead of him so far if he's no good and not even a top 50 ATG? PBF is a defensive-counter puncher there was no need for him to bang it out against guys and fight their fight. That wasn't his style he forced his style on other fighters and forced them to fight his fight and he did that to Pac, that's called ring generalship, which is part of scoring criteria. Actually, I know of MANY people who prefer to watch Floyd Mayweather fight. When Floyd fights, everyone watches. And he was never a legend, I don't know what you're saying. He really is living in Floyd's shadow. How can you not see that?
I gotta say, Floyd really has a point in everything he said. Everything about his upbringing, Rocky Marciano, American writers/pundits. Everything he said was 100% true. 100% of it.
Getting knocked out cold doesn't matter, getting beat by school teachers doesn't matter, hell even the actual head to head fights don't matter...I have no idea what actually does matter but we've established these things don't.

I argue Floyd is greater...as do many in the boxing world. If you "like" Manny better so be it, but to imply that he's "greater" is idiocy, they fought...it matters...Floyd won...he won easily...on top of having a great resume...never losing...never being knocked out...being the biggest draw in boxing history...what else needs to be discussed? Results matter...winning/losing matters...other things matter as well, but results matter most.
Was he...because the numbers don't reflect that, what do you base that on? While I would agree that Manny is a fun fighter to watch, and is entertaining, I'm just asking what you base him being "much, much better entertainer" on because as I said, the numbers don't reflect that.
