I think all TUE's should as a minimum be openly declared should an athlete wish to compete. If the athlete doesn't like it then let them keep their confidentiality whilst not competing. Simple.

No, no. Don't you know that everything is Eddie's fault and his job?

But I find it hilarious that someone would demand a statement from Hearn before Whyte. Whyte failed the test, not Hearn.

    Completely agree.
Certainly because in almost all cases an athlete having some TUE becomes public, the substance in question is one that gives a significant advantage in the sport they are practising. TUE's that can be the difference between being competitive or winning.

According to some investigation, on paper among world level athletes have about 50 times more heart, kidney, lung and other deficiencies as the rest of the population. While they should actually be the most healthy ones.

This. It's Whyte who needs to address this first and foremost.

People want an explanation from Hearn because arguably the most significant part of this story is the show being allowed to continue after (presumably) Whyte's team (and the promotion) knowing about the failed test whilst not telling team Rivas. That wouldn't be Whyte's call to make.

We don't have all the details yet of course, but if that part is true - it's absolutely scandalous.

Well it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Hearn got a green light to continue with the show, so he did. He has a built in excuse(whether anyone buys it). Either go on with the show or loose a lot of money.
BBBofC/UKAD allowing the fight to go ahead, now that is the bizarre thing.

no we need to hear from Eddie. He is desperate, AJ just lost, and he couldn't afford to have another one of his fighters lose.... This is just speculation, but there could be a chance that Hearn pushed the PEDS on Whyte, and told him "Don't worry, I got you covered, I'll sort it mate".... and they almost got away with it. but lets see what happens, I'm very curious to hear what their excuse is.

Yeah of course you can understand Hearn's reasons from his own commercial point of view - doesn't make it right though and people will still want to hear his explanation.

As for the BBBofC and UKAD allowing the show to continue - you're absolutely right, very strange.

I don't feel there's quite enough detail yet to know the full story.. but think there will be a great deal of fallout from this.
