Yeah, he trains under those eggheads at Loughborough university. They are supposed to know how to get through the tests.

Whyte's stamina was better against Rivas than it was against Parker, despite being similarly heavy.
I'd like to know what susbstance he tested positive for.

Agreed. If Whyte tested positive for something which was hushed up and then hidden from the other party then Rivas's team have grounds to sue, regardless of what that substance is.

I'm not quite so hardline on the issue though. If it turns out to be one of those grey area stimulants then I think it's a bit of a storm in a teacup. If it turns out to be a Miller-level PED cocktail (or even just one obvious performance enhancer) then throw the book at the lot of 'em.

I'm not in a position to ban anyone from competing so I'm free to air my views whichever way I like, and to me there's no doubt in my mind that Rivas is a total juicehead. I respect the contrary opinion though.

Obviously Wilder isn't involved in this, but if the WBC have dropped Whyte from his mandatory position based on the failed test without knowing what the substance is beforehand then they're acting in an inconsistent manner, considering they installed Stiverne as mandatory after he failed his test with Povetkin.

Ok that's fine. Wouldn't surprise me at all - I think most if not all use certain things to boost performance, just some disguise it better than others. For example - I'd be amazed if Fury shifted 10 stone in 6 months using only a keto diet and boxing training.

Until they're caught though, I personally give them the benefit of the doubt.

Going to have to explain this to my wife. She’s going to be so disappointed.

I'm not even prepared to do that. I just want to see some consistency in punishment for failed tests, though after the Miler situation I'm not sure I even care about that anymore.

Boxer fails a test? Great big meh from me.

doesn't matter if it's a fight by fight basis, or a co-promoter.... you still have obligations and terms.... I'm in the music business, and most of my clients work on a show by show basis with the agency I work at.... it doesn't mean that we don't represent them.

This is a weird situation..so Whyte goes into the fight knowing he’s failed a test and acts like nothing happened. Seemed over the moon he was now mandatory. I mean that’s some good acting from him knowing this was going to come out a few days after. Strange.

Dillian is probably kicking himself for not accepting the AJ rematch.

He better not kick himself too hard or he might do himself an injury.

Are we forgetting that AJ was going to fight an American miller in America and then he popped for every substance under the sun?
