Oh, that's cool! Unfortunately, it's probably only a handful of boxers who already have such detailed record (with all their Am. fights). For example, Usyk has only two: https://boxrec.com/en/amateurboxer/659772
Checked his profile and it said, "suspended by California State Athletic Commission until 2019-10-09" Really? Or maybe I'm reading something wrong?
Those suspensions come up all the time. Usually it just means a fighter can't fight in ninth commission for a certain amount of time after their last fight.
Do you know why they can't fight for that commission after their last fight? I mean is there a rule or something?
Not gonna lie I'd prefer it if I can still see the rounds, I know I can look at the bout it's self but it's a lot more effort
I think it's coz of injuries like thurman will be suspended (probably is) after that manny fight...he got messed up so they want to make sure he is fully recovered before his next fight
Precautionary measures. Hopefully it prevents others going through what say Daniel Franco has had to endure.
When they changed the first time and got rid of weights and what round the KO came...that sucked. I searched Mosley, DLH, Forrest, Ward, Cotto - all had extensive amateur records, yet none are listed on boxrec - nobody but Lomachenko seems to have their am record on there actually. I dont like it at all. They give Loma a 101-2 record, it's just misleading. And they don't even capture 25% of his amateur fights on there.
The weights and KO times are still there, you just have to log in. The amateur records are hard to track down, so it's a work in progress. They will list bouts they can confirm and there is a ton of information to go through.
The amateur records just started a couple months ago, for non-public viewing. The new layout still has a lot of bugs and only some editors have been adding amateur boxing bouts since implementation. More and more bouts will definitely be added as time goes by. You can see the weights and rounds if you just make an account, which is free.
