How about banning a poster who says the same every single time in threads that don't interest him at all?

I mean, calling Louis slow fighter is the next level of trolling. I've been thinking about ending my adventure with this forum, I thought the level of discussion here is much higher. Boxing is probably not the best sport for wise discussions though...

No what need is people like you to be flat out banned. If you so stupid that you can't understand that boxing has evolve over the years then you shouldn't be watching boxing. If you are too stupid to realize Joe Louis being good for 1930's standards doesn't equate to being good for modern standards. If you can't understand Joe Louis beating unskilled guys like Buddy and Max Baer, Primo Canera, Abe Simon doesn't equate to being able to beat modern skilled guys then you should just leave this forum yourself. Change your adult diaper and go back to talking about how back in your day you used to walk 100 miles to school or something. That would be more up to your speed.

 

Why don't you and Pat just set up a forum to discuss boxing on your own then?

The end result would be the same as banning everybody who posts threads like this!

 

If you cannot see that Louis is far advanced in comparison to today large unskilled hwts then you need another sport to follow. It’s not close. Combination punching alone Louis cannot be touched and that’s a very obvious difference. It’s all the nuance skills of slipping, parrying, blocking, countering, feinting where Louis is a master and today’s hwts do not have a clue.

At first glance I thought Southpaw stance of Moorer, along with a good right jab would trouble Louis. Heavyweights don't see along of lefties. At the same time Joe would drop that laser straight right and Moorer probably doesn't get up.
