Floyd fought on & won the fight ???? ROFL Floyd couldnt FIGHT. You saw the interviews where he " Maidana bullied me, beat me & roughed me up The ref did nothing to stop him It wasnt fair." ROFLMAO
I though Floyd was a professional Fighter why didnt he fight back? Fight like a MAN?? LOL He couldnt he wasnt capable. Instead he bleated & with Ellerbee caressing & consoling him ROFLMAO He got his cowardly ass kicked LOL.

 

Yeah he won he didnt quit like kovalev did against light punching ward. He won kovalev lost deal with it.

Kovalev wasnt winning before the stoppage.the last two punches were very low and the fight shoudnt have been stopped but maybe if kovalev wasnt bending over so badly ward wouldnt have looped hispunches so much trying to touch his body wich resulted in low blows...the only robbery in that fight is ward who was robbed from a legit ko win over kovalev

 

And you Floyd haters always bring him up in any conversation. What does Floyd have to do with Ward/Kov? It's funny, you cry about how Ward is a dirty fighter and how Floyd is a drug cheat, but your hero Margarito is the one that got suspended for cheating. Those of us that aren’t fanboys or haters saw a great performance that night, Ward crumpled Kovalev with legit shots right on the beltline. He didn’t stray below the area Weeks established as legal to target at the start of the fight, only the last shot was borderline, but Kovalev was finished by that point anyway, Weeks just saved him from taking any further punishment.

 

His suspension is proof enough!

 

Just one question, do you think Andre Ward is a dirty fighter?

 

Aside from the high level of bitterness being expressed by you the, Kov/ward rematch is best described as mind over matter. It’s unfortunate that you allow the non-pertinent aspects of the fight supersede SK’s obvious lack of overall fortitude to cloud your judgement.

Kovalev is a fine fighter; however, when faced with a superior thinker he crumbles under the pressure. I had Kovalev up by a round before the stoppage yet still felt that he was susceptible. The number of legitimate low blows absorbed by superior combatants that I’ve witnessed over the years pale in comparison to the ambiguous ones Kovalev consumed. I can name dozens of fights with more egregious low blows and those fighters trucked on. Kov folded end of story, despite your reservations towards Ward his recognition as a surgeon that dissects his opposition is clearly and undoubtedly apparent.
