He probably had to do that for political reasons, to make the "WBC eliminator" tag 100% legit perhaps ? I don't know.

Anyway, it's worth noting that VADA didn't find anything. He paid them and they probaby hardly tested him.
It was UKAD who caught him.

 

No he paid because he had cycled off. He got tested at the wrong point and the metabolites had pulsed, just like Jon Jones. I can dig up a scientific article if you're more happy with that?

 

He's probably saying he's a professional and did everything "correct" with regards to his drugs cycle but there's always a small chance of getting caught when you're cheating, even if you're doing it correcty.

 

And then you were proved wrong and had your spirit broken just that of your man Walters when he pulled a No Mas against Loma.

 

I appreciate your sentiments, but let's be realistic, it is a boxing forum... we are passionate about boxing, it's a basic quality of human nature to get behind a sport, a team, a hobby... naturally you will find levels of emotion on these forums.

Many here are emotionally invested, trust me, you don't have to be passionate about a boxer as a fan, no... you can be a hater... hate is a strong emotion... and continue for years on this forum pushing an agenda to discredit hard working boxings, who made it to the top 5, and continue to bash on them and make stuff up and spin the truth.

That is being emotionally invested more than I am, I merely showed enthusiasm, these guys are lying habitually, and going to extreme lengths to twist the facts. How about you call these guys out too? Thank you Furious.

 

Well, he probably "got where he was" with the help of PEDs, so can't really blame him for continuing to use them.

 

I'm not going to start 'calling people out' because I'm not that bothered, I just use this forum for a bit of discussion on boxing and to learn more about the sport. I don't really mind who likes or dislikes which boxer.

We clearly use this forum in different ways, so I'm not going to stop you.

 

By this point we know the tests don’t mean anything though surely, there are ways of beating the tests while you’re using. I mean how was whyte able to pass the other tests days/weeks prior? Does anyone really believe he just took a trace amount of Dianabol to get a boost a couple of days before the fight as that was the only test he failed? No. The far more likely scenario is that Whyte was on Dianabol plus a whole host of other things throughout camp and got caught out on one test where he didn’t flush it out properly. Which again shows the tests are beatable.

Rivas and Whyte passing tests doesn’t really mean anything, they were both juiced during camp and on fight night imo.

 

Eddie Hearn can go **** himself. The dude is lying through his teeth about the Whyte situation.

 

This caught me totally off guard but it seems pretty clear now Whyte has been juicing again. Casts a serious shadow over his last excuse IMO too. This is his second offence and it needs to be handled properly or it sends a horrible message. I've heard an 8 year ban from UKAD is standard for a second failed test and I see no reason why that shouldn't apply here.

 

Exactly. Why people want to give the benefit of the doubt to a two time drug cheat is beyond me.

 

Surely Dillian's team aren't dumb enough to rock the same excuse he used last time he got caught using PEDs!?!?!?

During the fight with big fat Lucas Browne Whyte did nothing but crap on old Lucas for being a two time cheat. Whyte said once you've been popped once, you check everything you put in your body and would never take any risk with a supplement you don't know and trust.

 

Not massively interested in watching this video. And Kugan used to be paid by Hearn in the early days of his channel so I tend not to give his content much of my time. But did he ask Hearn why Rivas' team were not told about the adverse findings?
