Having looked at that bit again a few times, yes, he says "I need to keep my hair for some expletive reason". So yeah, maybe additional testing outside of the usual.

I got the impression he is keeping his hair to use in testing as evidence in his defence rather than being told they want to test his hair too.

Maybe I need to watch it again.

Man, how do you get a job with UKAD? I've got a mortgage to pay, I need me some of that sweet PPV money without getting punched in the face thanks.

    "I was cleared to fight"

Yeah they could have equally decided it'd be okay for Jarrell Miller to fight Joshua after the failed tests (without telling anyone).

Saying you were cleared to fight doesn't clear up the matter, without a good justification for clearing him.

And given that these matters take months, how on earth was it dealt with conclusively in a few days, before they even tested the B sample.

This is hilarious and a prime example of why drugs at the top end of sports will never be cleared up. All they have to do is lawyer up until they can't be taken any furthur.

In addition to urine tests, steroids can also be detected using hair follicles or blood samples. Steroids can be tested for in the say way as with urine — by attempting to detect the presence of synthetic substances found in the body and known to replicate the performance and function of testosterone.

While analysis of urine specimens cannot distinguish between chronic use or single exposure, hair analysis makes this distinction

    >It's been dealt with days ago
    >We can't currently talk about it

Yeah those two things totally fit together.

keep seeing the same statement from Hearn and Whyte
"He was cleared to fight", "I was cleared to fight"

Neither of them have said he passed the test, were not asking if you were cleared to fight were asking if your a PED cheat who has failed another test?

At no point has it been said that he has not failed?

Surely if you had not failed that would be your first go to line?
