Thurman neutralised pac by coming forward, spence will do the same and Beat manny up, Thurman had good success. Pac is used to fighters running from him, he looked lost at times when Thurman was the aggressor.
Really? You mean like this when he was turning him? This content is protected Thurman had success because Pac ran out of steam. He was so drained he couldn't even fire at Thurman when he hurt him bad to the body. That's what happens when you hit 40.
Mikey fights completely different than Pac does and didn't try stand and trade with Spence the way Pac would which is why Pac would take more punishment in these exchanges especially to the body. Spence is a big WW who can fight at all ranges. Pac was actually outlanded in power punches by Thurman. Imagine what Spence does to him. Spence puts a career ending beating on Pac.
That seems reasonable. He's ancient in terms of boxing years, let's be honest. And Spence is yet to do anything approaching Pacman's resume.
I have to disagree. I think Spence is a nightmare for Pac and Floyd. I think Spence would be a headache for both in their primes as well. A.) Spence is much bigger than both...but to be fair Floyd and Manny have both beaten bigger fighters. B.) Floyd is a nightmare to hit. Pac man's movement and activity is his biggest attribute. What can neutralize both? Body punching. Spence is one of the best and most dedicated body punchers I've ever seen. Especially old versions of Manny and Floyd. Not too mention Spence has decent defense and can box or brawl or any style you need really. Also a Southpaw. Crawford could probably beat both as well....but I could see TC just being smart and dancing with both which would go to decision and god bless you trying to get a decision on Floyd. Now with all that being said. I think Manny fights the winner of Garcia vs Garica if that fight happens. Or just picks one of them to fight. I think a Floyd rematch happening will be revealed by his next opponent. If it's Spence he doesn't believe Floyd rematch is happening. If it's one of the Garcia's I think he believes it can happen. But if he actually gets in the ring with Spence I think his legacy is on par with Floyd even with that loss vs him. If he actually wins and then goes and fights Crawford and becomes undisputed WW champion in this era pass 40....his legacy will surpass Floyd by a mile even with that loss vs him. This is a golden age at Welterweight. Thurman, Spence and Crawford are all greats for this division imo. Plus other great WWs like Porter, Danny Garcia and now MIkey. If he went through them the big 3 Keith, Errol and Crawford at 40 and over Pac has to be considered greater than Floyd I am sorry.
I love Pac and I'm happy he beat Thurman! But... I really don't want to see him against Spence. Spence's motor is top-shelf. He can easily tire Manny out to a late TKO, which I really would hate to see. And we saw Manny tire out after 5th against Thurman. He had to take a round or two off. His legs aren't there to put Spence off of him. Spence takes this
yes, but you are very basic in your understanding of boxing. dont get upset, its just the truth based on your interpretations of what you see.
Have to go with Spence. He is way to busy for a 40 year old fighter who has been through the wars Manny has. The work rate is the big difference here. If Manny could go 12 rounds like he did the first 6 In the Thurman fight I would favor him, but that isn't possible at this point. Manny needs to rematch Floyd or retire.
