Good and sensible post which will be lost amongst the hate on here. Nobody has any evidence of AJ being on steroids. If he needed them so much, why was he keen to go to America?
I thought it would be up to the boxing governing bodies to decide whether a champion of theirs is stripped of their title belt? In fact it’s always being a bit confusing how rematches clauses can be put into pre fight contracts without the approval of the boxing governing bodies who generally do not improve of immediate rematches unless it’s a controversial fight result either on the cards or by stoppage. There was nothing controversial about Ruiz beating Joshua. It was simply the better man on the night won pretty convincingly. There’s already rumors that Bob Arum has asked the IBF to force Ruiz to fight the IBF’s mandatory challenger, Kubrat Pulev rather than rematch Joshua or be stripped of the title so it’s not always so black and white, the situation that follows the attempts to enforce pre-fight rematch clauses between the champions and challengers camps. Of course the possibility of receiving a far bigger fee for sanctioning a Ruiz/Joshua rematch than for a routine title defence against the mandatory challenger will be a big deciding factor as well.
Ruiz should force the rematch to take place in Mexico City. Joshua will Starch in the ring just from breathing in the pollution there and Ruiz will Crush him like a Taco!! Also without his Juicy Roids he'll have no recovery Super-Powers to save him from a Brutal KO Loss again!!
I find this confusing where the fight takes place & who keeps the belts,AJ was champion so would of had a rematch clause. I would not be shocked if belts get split up & AJ ends up with a belt or 2.Bob Arum try take a belt some how without fighting AJ.
According to his convo with Eddie he also cleared 2 tests in the lead up. That is the concerning part to me...
No its not. Google Dbol or it's real name Metandienone. Then come back here and let us know if its still concerning.
you lot have short memories, the yanks have a long history of PED abuse. have a look! yank country is robbery country,
Is it the cycling side of them that makes them hard to accurately test for? "One in a million" certainly makes the testing sound like a joke.
Cool cheers. 1 other factor I guess is boxing is dodgy as hell. I’m thinking they will probably just make up the rules to suit whatever outcome they are trying to achieve.
No, Dbol is easy to test except that it has a small detection window of 3 days generally for its metabolites. Thus it's harder to get the timing down. And with testing randomly, there could be days or a week in between testing days. He probably thought he was home free since he was probably trying to ingest Dbol between tests days. It's just a guess...
This is the final nail in the already almost completely sealed coffin of the Ruiz rematch. He will get injury after injury or basically anything before he comes to the UK and gets robbed. People are grossly underestimating Haymon and Finkel and massively buying into the Eddie Power meme, which basically ends in at Dover.
For Ruiz to Starch a Juiced Joshua in his Backyard in front of his rabid FanBoyz would be impressive indeed! I'm sure a Biased Referee will jump in and break up the action anytime Ruiz lands a shot though...
