    I would laugh to see whyte removed as mandatory but the proper way to interpret the WBC comment is

    they have the “ability” to cancel whyte as the mandatory. Depending on the research they find out, they will or will not do that. Time will tell.

    Exactly, he only says WBC has the power to remove Whyte as mandatory not that they've done that.

    I never thought Whyte was the sharpest tool in the shed. TBH I am amazed that he has become a multi-millionaire PPV fighter without winning a European title or even fighting for a World title.
    If he ever fought Wilder he would get brutally knocked out. And would no doubt incur brain damage. What they call CTE.
