    Cientifico, it should be noted, is probably one of Tank's better opponents since he defeated Pedraza. Pretty impressive that Davis was able to blast him out as quickly as he did.

    (his only previous non-controversial loss - besides the DQ for low blows in a messy early-career brawl with countryman Saimon William Siris Castillo - was a TKO2 at the hands of Barnie Arguilles, somebody he already had stopped years earlier, and would TKO2 in turn in their immediate rubber-match six months later...)

    im just talking bout his sense of style.
    surely he could have found a more tasteful ensemble to suggest africa. red leather high heel boots, rhinestone covered jackets, animal prints, etc... are just some of the bad style ideas he keeps coming up with.

    Was it ever so slightly an early stoppage? Maybe slightly so.

    Nevertheless, Tank was lighting him up like a Christmas tree with murderous power punches and twisting Nunez up like a magician with one of those elongated balloons. Safety first, personally I am not in this sport to see long-term damage.

    If that referee has allowed it to continue, Tank would have won by brutal KO in the next 10-20 seconds and the conversation would have been 'was it allowed to continue too long'.

    The referee did the correct thing, and not only saved his opponent but also his own job. It was a professional decision of the highest order.

    Tank David.... Hometown star with a packed house. He brought the whole city out tonight and now everybody celebrating.
