Francisco Vargas and Erik Morales both fight after failing pre fight test. Guillermo Jones got turned down by promoter, but was allowed to fight. Nery I think so too.
Being cleared by agency to fight doesn't mean you are clean.

Disappointing. I was looking forward to this fight.

I don't actually dislike Whyte -- unlike AJ, who I strongly disliked.

But Whyte is very overhyped -- particularly by AJ fans and Brits -- and I would've loved seeing him get KO'd.

The punchline didn’t really hit since Charles Martin is just about as good as Whyte.

Probably scheduled for early 2020 after legal issues resolved. Leaves room for a couple of voluntaries. If I was a mid level HW on the decline or a past name who has put on a lot of weight and had a run of injuries, I'd be trying my best to do something to get a WBC 14/15 ranking about now.

Being overmatched against Deontay Wilder sounds unpleasant.

    Fail thread

WBC and VADA formed the clean boxing program

Dillian passed all VADA tests and thus is clean as far as the WBC is concerned

If WBC are unhappy with that then we have even bigger problems with their VADA protocol

He is far from clearing his name in the media but he is pretty much cleared by all other accounts. Very smart man by doing VADA 365

    Saved his ass

He will be acquitted and then **** up Wilder badly

Momentum has been building for Dustin Nichols to take the shot. If Wilder and team feel like taking the risk.

I guess. Depends how much you are being paid and how much punishment you are willing to take before calling it quits.

Surely he will get at least another two year ban. Miller deserved a four year ban.
TBH it would be a blessing that he doesn't fight Wilder. Wilder would be motivated to deliver an even more brutal knockout than against Brezeale.
He is a multi-millionaire but a prime Wilder will be looking to deliver career ending injuries to Whyte's cranium. And he doesn't have the footwork and body movement to slip and slide, duck and dive, bob and weave to prevent a decapitation.

TBH I was suspicious when he turned down the 13th April at Wembly against Joshua. He said £5,000,000 wasn't enough. Then I got even more suspicious when he refused to discuss MSG when Miller was caught doping. Personally I think he has been doping on something like cheque drops (Mibolerone). Something potent with a very short half life. It can as short as 2 hours when training. And I suspect that this has been under the guidance of some of the sports science academics at Loughborough.
Or I believe that he may go to the extent of using a whizzinator type device with clean urine.

The funny thing is that Hearn, and many other public figures in boxing, had the audacity to slate Ortiz for not taking the fight when Miller pulled out and hinting that it was because he was mid-cycle. No one batted an eyelid when Whyte didn't take the fight as a replacement.

Now a competent journalist needs to bring that back up and mention to Hearn that perhaps Whyte never took that fight because like Ortiz he was mid-cycle.

    That ain't probably gonna Happen
Don't think I've ever seen a result overturned due to the opponent being done for ped use

Just like when they didnt want to face Povetkin. Povetkin popped, got found not guilty and was free to fight on but Wilder got out of having to fight him.
