    He was banned because they gave him a medical and couldn't find any heart, it was a medical miracle and initially they believed it was a fault with the equipment.

    Then they watched the Ruiz fight and saw with their own eyes AJ basically quit and that confirmed it.

    So until AJ proves he has heart then he is banned.

    Not a huge fan of his but how many times did he get up after being knocked down? It takes heart just to step in the ring, he was just beaten by the better man on the night.

    This is how I feel about it. Joshua could have just stayed down after the first knockdown if he truly lacked heart. He traded punches, did what he could do, but Ruiz was flat out better. There's no shame in losing to someone who outfights you. And post-Dadashev, ripping on fighters for "quitting" or showing a lack of heart in a tough fight seems less amusing.
