I’m exactly the same bud. I’m consoling myself that this might just (predominantly) be a heavyweight division problem rather than the whole lot. I’m starting to think that this is a lot like the cycling with Lance Armstrong and co.

I think it's rife throughout the divisions, cheating in some form ie. PED's, bribery, plaster on the wraps.......

I think the dbol gets broken down in your body into these metabolites and passed in your urine....Its Russian roulette though with exactly how long you be completely clear from dbol...Its a very old skool drug and used more in bulking and strength rather than for athletic reasons...

It would explain a 10lb rise in his weight though....I have just put on 16lb myself in 7 days i certainly would not pass a pi$$ test

It's even more prevalent at heavyweight as there are no weight issues, they can just pile on muscle, fat, whatever they want, someone who has to stay between x weight and x weight has to be more careful but a heavyweight can just pile what ever

The other thing is with things like Dianabol they will hold big amounts of water, some steroids are more dryer but they will increase water weight, it's why it's common for people to blow up on steroids then lose a fair amount when off as they lose the weight water in their arms etc

I haven't actually been telling you how to write, just pointing out your stupidity.

It wasn't a loaded question, there was no questionable premise to it.
You didn't call my bluff, the only bluff I could have been making was you not being able to answer that question, which you didn't.
Then you implied when I said "you" I was referring to myself, which is the sort of comeback that's already cringeworthy in primary school.

You writing for a living makes this more pathetic, since if anyone should be at a higher standard, it's you.

I don't blame Whyte so much here. His biggest rival, who he beat in the amateurs and lost to in the pro ranks is clearly juiced to the gills and protected with TUE's etc. How can Whyte compete with that other than juicing? I'm not annoyed with Whyte at all tbh. Sure my favourite fighter - Tyson Fury - probably took PED's as well although his case was a shambles. I believe it's rampant in the sport and fighters think they need them because the opposition are doing it.

My issue in this case is with Hearn and his hypocrisy. The clips of him making comments about the Miller saga are mind blowing given what we know as fact in this case. (Mainly Rivas team not being informed of the situation)

Another way we could look at it is that we accept it's happening. Some are professional and disciplined enough to never get caught while others make mistakes and we'll never know the extent of things. 4 of the top 10 heavies have failed, been banned or both. Is it likely the other 6 are clean? Who knows. It is a bit depressing since I was warming to Whyte. That's not to say he's guilty of the latest one, since the facts are not there yet, but he is one of the 4 who have failed previously.

I just cant get it round my head how they justify life threatening cheating, unless its a case of keeping up with the other cheaters, that its so corrupt you are the odd one out if you don't dope up? If a fighter kills someone late in a fight because they have that extra stamina, what would that mean to them? find it enraging to be honest, the more I look into it...

yeah I thought that, and the fact it was a bad KO that possibly could have damaged Chisora's health and career.

No worries, when I hear that from the people I work with, I'll take it more seriously. Cheers.

100% is bro. These lighter weights need to cut weight and there are so many steroids and diuretics that will facilitate that whilst maintaining/building explosive strength. The drug that Galahad was caught for is absolutely ideal for weight cutting in sport. At domestic level where there is very little testing (see Miles Shinkwin and Curtis Woodhouse testaments) I can see fighters getting away with that easily.

If you want to go back years Hatton is a prime candidate for DNP, dropping shed loads of weight ridiculously quickly

Just to expand on this, remember when Bellew used to cut to LHW? That’s how a natural PED-free fighter should look when cutting to make weight. Completely drained of water, muscles totally flat. Some of these weight cutters have full muscles whilst being shredded to the bone and with veins popping at the weigh ins. Looks extremely suspect.

    Dat dere Trenbolone Acetate.

Originally developed as Finaplix to keep cattle on their way to market full of muscle i.e. meat while not being fed, known as anti-catabolic. Just so happens to have insane strength gain and fat loss as an effect as well. Really makes you think.

    This is a good point.

Every time I watch an interview or fight with Jarrett Hurd I am thinking how the F*** is it possible for this guy to make 154 lbs and be effective for 12 rounds.
