Who's the best counter puncher you've ever seen?

    Though Quarry was not the best at anything, he was an above average counter puncher.

    One of the best of recent years. Probably somewhere above Marquez and below Mayweather.

    Roy at his physical peak was a better counter puncher than Floyd.

    Tyson deserves serious mention and is a top 10 all time counterpuncher imo

    I cant consider Sanchez over guys like Duran and Napoles because countering is about making guys MISS and making them pay.

    And while Sanchez was great at making guys pay, he was never that good at making guys miss. Certainly didnt have the level of defensive skill that Duran and Napoles had.

    And while on that, Benitez is one of the best counterpuncher of all time as well.

    No ones mentioned Carlos Ortiz yet. He was a superb counterpuncher.

    Joey Giardello is amongst 'em. In his prime and when he was in shape, he ALWAYS made an opponent pay for daring to throw a punch.

    I'm Gonna get some heat for this one...but Derrick Gainer looked like a really good counter puncher when I watched him
