Holmes beats any version of Ali.

Not because he's "greater", but because styles make fight etc, and he just has his number.

 

A jab thrown at angles due to lateral movement trumps a static jab thrown from a stationary stance.

I just think Ali’s all round speed advantage would be the difference.

 

I agree and the klitchkos and Lewis would also beat Ali.

 

Again Ali’s jab much more versatile and it cut opponents to ribbons.

 

Holmes greater jab would win it but it wouldn’t surprise me if the judges gave it to the flashier Ali.

 

Ali’s jab was far superior. Prime Ali’s jab. Faster, more precise and used as a weapon during quick lateral movement.

 

Holmes jab was far far superior. Prime Holmes jab. Faster, more accurate and could be used both as a defensive tool to stop opponents launching attacks and also be the focal point of his own offence.

 

Ali for me in a tight fight. Faster hands and faster feet being the difference.
