If you get intimidated by some lads having bigger muscles on a football pitch, then you’re better off calling it a day.

This made me crack up. The 6 a side game is rife with drug cheats, it’s not safe to go into a tackle with these boys. Boycott 6 a side PPV.

Why did you jump to that conclusion? For what it's worth I wasn't and am not intimidated at all, I was bigger than most of those guys anyway and I would back myself against any of them if it turned nasty, I just got fed up with the constant fights every game and macho behaviour, it wasn't football anymore, games were getting postponed due to fights.

Steroids aren't a good thing, there are significant side affects to the body and why use them, just build the muscle and strength naturally through exercise, diet and lifestyle. People are always looking for blind short cuts these days.

Haha, I didn't mean it to come across quite as strongly as that! It's true though, teams of disproportionate angry young men, it was like a freak show!

I am not sure exactly how VADA works with their testing with the athlete himself payi
Spoken like a true naive fella who knows nothing about PEDs...

Do you think all these youths running around stabbing each other is due to roids or maybe its a generational thing??...I would bet if lads are taking juice going to gym and playing football they are not out robbing and stabbing

Steroids aren’t a bad thing either, IMO.

It’s like anything in life, moderation is key.

You mention EVERYONE is on them these days, that’s a massive exaggeration. From what I see a bigger problem is class a drugs which vast majority of people seem to do on a regular basis, cocaine heroin etc, certainly worse for you than a steroid is.

I have to agree with the football though, I played in 5 a side league 2 years ago, topped the league of course unbeaten in our first season, but we jacked it in second season as there were red cards (get a fine) and fights almost weekly, and with most of my team being in our 30s, it’s not what we wanted. It’s just not worth it when your self employed and you need to use your hands and feet to earn money! And of course kids to pay for.

Nah I'll probably just leave the forum, after I condemn him publicly if proven

Moderation is certainly the key and when I said everyone I didn't mean literally everyone, just that there seems to be a huge increase in the use of them these days, my cousin is a personal trainer and he often mentions that he's seeing unusual gains that simply must be attributed to the use of steroids.

Of course Class A drugs being used to regularly are far worse, and the crimes committed off of the back of the sale and use of them, but in terms of sport performance enhancing drugs are a bigger problem now then ever before and I don't think they're going to go away anytime soon.

Why would you leave? There’s more to boxing than just Dillian Whyte.

What do you write as your job about by the way?

    I love boxing....

But, I looked up to Whyte, his life journey, his struggles, picking up Boxing late. He didn't just fight opponents in the ring, he fought those who wanted to put him down, and laugh at him, and play down his chances at mixing it with the elite fighters of the world in the most competitive combat sports discipline around.

I have always been understimated in my life, and always been put down, and overlooked exactly like Whyte. People laughed at me as kid in school thinking I wouldn't amount to this or to that, they never knew what I was capable of.

But I had the last laugh, in school I was the skinniest, but I excelled in sports and beat everyone to the point that they had to lie about their scores and results just to catch up to me.

In university, the geeks and the child prodigies laughed at me because I looked different, like a road man, lazy, hipster not switched on, but I graduated top of my class, and achieved the highest score in history, and the lecturer gave me a standing ovation, but I'll never forget the look of disgust from the geniuses who couldn't believe it, how did I prove them wrong every time?

The same way Whyte was put down continously in this forum, no one looked beyond his abilities into his heart and spirit to respect what strength he really had, a guy who was dedicated and wanted to improve, and wanted to make something of himself.

I had a moral obligation to stand up for Whyte, after facing the same baseless hate, envy and jealousy, and needless disrespect.

I share the same heart as Whyte, when challenged in things I am weak at, I still dug deep and came out on top even if it meant I would die. When I was challenged in a gym by a long distance athelete on the treadmill to test my endurance because he assumed I was a gym rat who had useless muscle, and couldn't run for ****. But then I beat him on that treadmill, and he couldn't believe it, I nearly died, but I kept a poker face on, and he shook my hand.

Always underestimated by everyone, always overlooked, me and Whyte, but we still shine through and don't always get the credit we deserve from the haters.

I wish there was less hate in these forums, because it is toxic and has no place in a peaceful community, we should be happy for someone who is dedicated not shun him.

So if Whyte cheated, then he isn't the man I thought he was, because you beat the haters fair and square, you don't cheat otherwise you are no better than those losers. Kill them with honesty.

I was emotionally invested in Whyte's story and his journey, but if he cheated willingly, that takes away my hope that I've built over the past few years that someone could achieve what he did clean.
