Doubt it mate, he's strong, he's game but he's seriously flawed at 6'2 skinny fat, 215.

Rivas is hella strong, that guy can take a bullet, a baseball bat to the head, a drop kick from Valuev, and he'll still keep coming. Rivas would show hunter zero respect, and if I was Rivas trainer, I would tell him, show Hunter no respect, and take him out in 2 rounds.

Hunter has got skills, but as someone's already pointed out, he looks really cumbersome off balance at times. Makes the top 10 for me though. Parker, Fury, Wilder, Whyte, obviously Usyk, Ruiz I have beating him, some destroying him

“A lot of these guys; Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, I fought these guys in the amateurs. They all know me as a heavyweight. I dunno about these guy saying I’m a cruiserweight. These guys, Tyson Fury, Charles Martin, Deontay Wilder, Dominic Breazeale… I can go on and on, they know me as a fully-fledged heavyweight. Martin Bakole didn’t know me a heavyweight. He saw me as a small cruiserweight. I’m very comfortable fighting big guys and that was another surprise tactic that went in my favour during the Bakole fight.

“I enjoy it [being written off]. I’m just a small guy beating up a big guy. As a heavyweight, I’ve never lost to anybody in the United States. Overseas, I haven’t lost many either. Nobody that is in America can tell you they had a win over me. Tyson Fury can, as an amateur, but Tyson didn’t really win that fight and he knows it! There’s nobody out there right now hat has beaten me who has a win over me or would have the edge over me [as a heavyweight]. I look at these guys, Wilder or Fury, these guys wouldn’t be able to play these silly games when they look me in the eye. They see me. We know each other. It’s gonna be hard for them to tell me anything or to get anything over on me.”

Hunter grew up watching his father routinely beat the living dog**** out of none other than The Baddest Man on the Planet aka Mr. Michael Gerard Tyson, prime Mike, in the gym. And you wonder why Jr. is utterly fearless and has called out virtually every top HW in the world and whenever they're looking for a dance partner he's always the first to throw his name into the hat, regardless of how highly ranked they are, their physical dimensions, or their fighting style.

“My dad was Mike Tyson’s sparring partner for like four or five years straight, so I was around at that time. Fortunately I got to see my dad box and spar with the best of these guys and as we’re growing up, all these guys know who I am and find out my name. They always gave me a lot of respect and they had plenty of stories about sparring dad, how crazy he was and how good he was for the sport. [Godfather star] James Caan was his manager, too.”

Hunter ain't laying down for ****, he'd have done the same thing ti AJ that Ruiz did.

And this is what a motivated Hunter did to a guy that went the distance with Rivas.

What exactly has buying into your delusions gotten you thus far? Nothing but shame and embarrassment for backing a massive piece of ****. Why don't you actually try supporting a good guy for once, instead of clinging to stupid by proxy notions that you think will continue to make that doping vomit Whyte look good.

Do you think for one second I do not respect Hunter? That I don't like Hunter? Ok let's clear the air right now.

Hunter is a good boxer, he has flaws, but they are over shadowed by his incredible bravery, heart and grit. Hunter is the real life version of Karate Kid, Rocky Balboa, like a cringy 80's film he doubles down and beats guys twice his size, despite eating their best shots.

He is accomplished, arguably gave Usyk one of his best fights, and has had a notable amateur career.

Hunter has my FULL respect. I LIKE Hunter, I RATE Hunter.

one more time, for archive purposes.

Hunter has my FULL respect. I LIKE Hunter, I RATE Hunter.

    Moving on....

What does my respect for Hunter have to do with my opinion that he can't beat the top 5? And struggles against the top 10?

You want to shoot me down for being a realist? I didn't say Hail Hydra hail Hunter? I defected from the popular opinion of the board?

I said Whyte would beat the top guys and be a top 5 guy, and he has done exactly that, I believe he can beat AJ, and can beat Wilder, I stand by those words because I KNOW what he brings to the table and I know what Hunter brings to the table and Hunter is coming up short.

Apologies if you took personal offence from my point of views, I am merely being an honest individual, with no insults and no bashing on my part.

But please CST80 continue to bash on hard working Whyte, the dude with the position Hunter is trying to reach.
