Waleska Roldan, Chris Flores, Ramon Cerdan. These 3 corrupt judges who score the Pacquiao Horn fight should never be allowed to score a fight again.
It won't work. The officials already know. In many cases, they are the most egregious offenders and train the other judges. What you need to understand about the judges is that they are a small tight nit club, a mob if you will, a gang, and they all stick together to cover each other's asses. You think the Blue Wall is bad, this judging thing makes that look like nothing. A lot of these folks in addition to being buddies with the other judges got their jobs because they have family in the boxing industry.
You know, Canelo's had Dave Moretti judge him on eight different occasions, every time he fights in Vegas. Even pulled Adelaide Byrd a time or two there. These locations usually just rotate ten or twenty judges continually, because there isn't a huge pool to draw from. They each get about twenty-five fights to judge a year and the ones with seniority get the lucrative title fights. The athletic organizations do the same thing with the refs. Canelo's had Kenny Bayless four times, Robert Byrd two times, Tony Weeks twice. Manny Pacquiao has had Dave Moretti 11 times. He's the Vegas judge. You fight in Vegas you get him.
Nothing I've ever scored was close to as egregious as the Byrd's of the world. Maybe you disagreed with my cards on some razor close matches that could go either way, with two sides seeing the match through two starkly contrasted lens, but that's about it.
Might be surprised where this information leads, you could end up down a rabbit whole once you connect the dots. This is a very interesting project. Let's put down that Mexican judge from the Fury vs Wilder fight, who was watching a different fight completely.
I know this may be slightly off topic, but here goes: Nice thread! I want to mention the scorecards from Joshua-Takam. Now you may think “wtf is he talking about” because that fight ended by TKO. I’m talking about the pre-filled cards. And I mean literally, they showed up on screen for just a couple of seconds. Go on YT and type “Joshua-Takam fixed”. It’s there for EVERYONE to see.
That's why I think it be a good idea if you do this. Since you are doing a round by round anyway at the conclusion of each thread we can throw in a few judges on a running list at the end...and then rank them up as they produce more terrible score cards.
