He's better to go for Canelo straightaway, make the majority of the money in one go without risking getting sparked by GGG. Canelo-Spence is a big enough fight even without Spence setting it up vs GGG.

Also stylistically he's got a better chance of avoiding a KO there (although GGG's age probably negates it somewhat), Canelo will probably box him rather than look to walk through and spark him. If Spence loses by decision then the GGG fight is still there.

 

I have no doubt Spence would stop prime Hagler, Hearns and Duran. No doubt about that. He prolly KO Mike Tyson at a 175 catchweight. Preach it bruh!!

I'm not saying Spence beats ggg because I don't think he can the fact is though if spence did beat ggg people would come up with excuses and that's a fact

 

Would be a very good, competitive fight. Spence would handle himself a lot better against GGG than Brook who was just too fragile and easy to hit, despite winning a couple of rounds. Plus he has a bigger frame than Brook and will fill out better at the weight.

 

Spence also brings bodyshots to the table
