These men won fights against foes who were on a terror and looking devastating. Who win was more impressive?

    Morales beating Pac
    Max beating Louis
    Douglas beating Tyson

    Max beating Louis

Louis is 1) the best imo
    2) Louis was at his best. No ill preparations.

Morales beating Pacquiao. Pac didn't lose because he wasn't prepared. He was outboxed by a great veteran. Different from the other 2 fights.

Douglas vs Tyson is the most impressive feat ...I know people who picked Morales over Pac ...and I'm sure the Nazi's though Max could pull it off

I agree GC...Schmeling's win over Louis even tops Douglas-Tyson...as incredible as that seems(!!!) This video actually proves it IMO...

This video slows it all down...and is literally amazes me how good Schmeling was in that 1st fight with Louis.

Pacquiao destroyed Barrera in his first fight at FW.

Pacquiao and Morales were about the same size (Morales 140, Pac 139 on fight night). Pacquiao was already a 3-division champion and ranked #5 pound for pound. Pacquiao had destroyed Barrera when Barrera was at the peak of his career. Barrera had beaten Hamed, Morales, and Tapia in his previous 5 fights. Barrera was ranked #3 p4p when Pac beat him.

Louis' best win at the time was Max Baer. Baer was coming off a loss to Braddock. Baer wasn't as great a fighter as Barrera or Marquez.

Louis had 24 fights and he had been a pro for 2 years. Pacquiao had 43 fights and he had been a pro for 10 years. Louis had 0 title fights, Pacquiao had 10 (7-1-2).

Max's win over Louis edges it because of his age. I believe he was north of 30 and had been around. He had some tough fights on his odometer. Nobody else in the world could touch Joe Louis. Yet Max went in with a plan and a purpose...he took some return fire and stuck to this plan.

I don't know why but Schmeling is still possibly the most underrated HW fighter on this forum. He dominated Louis cleanly and had a great, accomplished career.

Yet I've seen people who says he couldn't box, was easy to beat and wouldn't even be a decent LHW today.
