He's a business man number 1, obviously a very good one at that. He's going to do whats best for himself, his business and his fighters. Of course he will ruffle some feathers but that's tough, that's business.

Secondly I think hes a really nice guy and funny as feck.

 

No it's not business, it's blatant dishonesty. This isn't tiddlywinks, we're talking about people's lives being on the line. The disregard shown towards Oscar Rivas is a disgrace and Hearn absolutely deserves to be criticised for it.

This is boxing, drugs or no drugs you can get hurt.

I don't think Hearn did anything particularly wrong and certainly nothing unusual in having the fight go ahead.
Failing to notify Rivas seems wrong, and they should sue him probably, but even that is mostly down to the BBBoC, and the UKAD/NADP system.
So not really primarily Hearn's fault.

BUT .... he's been gobbing off about "PED" cheats, left, right and centre.
He's been very vocal when others have cheated, and when testing procedures have been found wanting ....
.... and he even had the audacity to mention Pacquiao's winning against Thurman being suspect, the DAY AFTER the Whyte-Rivas fight, clearly not expecting what he knew at that time to become a big publicized story a few days later.
He's a weasel, a hypocrite ....
