Eddie doing what he does best as a salesman, just bull****---ing out his backside, he has so much spin he catches himself coming back as shown by the Hearn hypocrisy thread

Slightly off topic but.

A woman here in the UK failed her driving theory test because she got caught getting the answers over a blue tooth device, whilst she may be a good driver but cant get her head around the theory with different scenarios etc etc.

By cheating to try and get her license she potentially puts other road users lives at risk because she doesn't understand the rules of the road, she just ignored them so she could drive.

She was prosecuted for cheating and was given a 20wk jail sentence suspended for 2 years.

Should athletes who cheat and put others at risk in the same sport, especially boxing where lives are literally on the line anyway be afforded the same treatment as this lady.

I say yes they certainly should, and anybody who knowingly knew about it and continued regardless.

Just listened to Eddie Hearn doing an interview with the Fight Disciples

https://www.fightdisciples.com/2019/07/31/interview-eddie-hearn/

You have to give it to him, he is a very convincing talker. You almost end up believing him. I notice that he completely talks over the interviewer at times or doesn’t let them finish or allow them to challenge him.

Assuming the Hause article to be accurate, how do you come up with a convincing argument to explain the dianabol metabolites in your sample? It was my understanding that there was a zero tolerance attitude to this...for example, any trace of this and you’re out, no excuses. He got tested by VADA weekly, sometimes biweekly...how can this be a defence though?

Kugan asked ONE decent question in "would you have told Oscar Rivas if legally you were allowed to?"

Hearns just squirmed and really didnt have an answer, it was a checkmate.

W will listen to that tomorrow but im sure it is more of the same....And to be fair to Hearn this looks worse every day for the BBBoC and not so much him.....

If he has a trace of dbol the fight should not have happened ....simple

Bad turn of phrase but indecent images don't land on your hard drive by mistake.

If that is in your system it is there for a reason.

From what Eddie has said publicly in all his interviews so far he is insinuating that the dianabol metabolites report is completely false. He hasn’t said that explicitly but he’s heavily hinting that Hauser has got the substance wrong.

Sounds like he's paving a way for a weasel out clause that claims that :
"the metabolites found CAN ALSO be found in (insert innocuous substance here)."

This trope has been used before when people have been caught red-handed.

All I need to know is that there hasn't been a blanket denial yet, but there has been a defening silence.

Compared to say when he confirmed the Ruiz rematch option, which he was shouting from the rooftops literally while Joshua's eyes were still glazed over.

Possibly. I also wouldn't rule out a scenario where Hearn knows that the precise details of the adverse finding must be legally kept confidential so he's passively denying it was dianabol to make Whyte appear more innocent.

I just don't see how Hauser could be wildly wrong though so you are probably right. Hauser has said that he has verified his source as he would when he would report on any news so I am inclined to believe that he has been provided with accurate information. And as we all know, it's very logical for Whyte to have used dianabol and his physique is reflective of that.

That's a better shout than mine. I wasn't aware that the findings had to be kept confidential.

I'd bet 10 quid that it's a steroid not just something that could occur in food. If it was something that could easily be explained by being accidentally ingested then why all this smoke and daggers? Hauser has got it right I'm sure

Can’t believe we’ve got 85 pages on this when Saunders got 8.

Everyone says this board is full of matchroom, it’s majority Warren backers. Everyone salivating at the lips because a matchroom fighter failed.

They should all be treated the same regardless of promoter.

Banned for life.

Oh I don't know whether findings can be confidential I'm just speculating. But I think it could be a way for Hearn and Whyte to wriggle out of this. That's why the lawyers are involved in this. Hearn knows that UKAD shat the Fury case because of fears they'd be bankrupted in court. Matchroom have deep coffers, I'm sure they will explore the threat of litigation and once that happens UKAD will **** the bed yet again.

Joke organisation.

Just remember how fast Eddie was to take to the loudhailer re the taking of the Ruiz rematch....2 hrs post-fight maybe? If that? Incredible how he even knew when and where it was going to be held and what Joshua was thinking....

This on the other hand....all blurred lines, weasel words, delays, unclear info....hmmm wonder why. If Whyte was truly innocent we'd have it crowbarred into 8 x iFL videos by now.
