According to Thomas Hauser, the original source of the story, UKAD was the primary drug testing agency for the Whyte-Rivas fight. Dillian Whyte failed a UKAD test on July 17th when he tested positive for Dianabol. VADA only had a minor testing role as part of the WBC's Clean Boxing Program. He said VADA tested Whyte and Rivas only 1 time each(July 17th), which they both passed, leading up to the fight and 1 time each(July 21st), which they both passed, post fight. UKAD carried out the all of the rest of the testing protocol.

The WBC only pays VADA $10,000 per month to test their entire roster of ranked fighters, which breaks down to $40 per fighter, per month. The WBC's CBP is not 24/7/365 VADA testing. They only pay VADA with their allotted budget. Hence, VADA is simply sub-contracted by the WBC to collect samples for the WBC's CBP. It has nothing to do with actual VADA testing.

This is my understanding of what he said on a podcast yesterday.

haha so they only tested him twice, so much for Hearn saying Whyte pays 40k or something for VADA testing lol and SKY and Whyte's fans who keep mentioning that he passed all VADA tests. No wonder they didn't catch him, UKAD did all the other tests and he was popped on June 17th by them. And the hearing was on July 20th so when Team Whyte showed just the 1 passed VADA test that was enough to clear him lol

 

That is according to Thomas Hauser, the writer of the original story. I have no clue who the dude is. So it’s simply his version of the story. He didn’t mention anything about Eddie or Dillian paying $40K for year round testing. So take it at face value.

 

He's a very credible source he's wrote articles about PED cheats before. He's the one that a member of UKAD leaked Whyte's failed tests to

No because Mike Coppinger also backed him up and wrote a full article on it including the exact trace amounts. There wasn't loads of VADA tests, there was just 2, and only 1 before the fight. UKAD did ALL the other testing, your boy is in a world a trouble

 

I'm relaying what he said, 1 pre-fight VADA test, that's a joke. Trace amounts were there on June 17th and by July 17th when VADA tested obv it out of Whyte's system.

 

Funny how other reports say the fail was 5 weeks out from the fight...

You may not believe me now, but rest assured Whyte gets tested way more than Twice in a camp by VADA, he is on 365
