You don't understand that Canelo is the cash cow and fighters are trying to get rich off him, fair play to them, but now Dchenko has to fight GGG, and GGG has to finally face his former mandatory, both doing it for likely a lot less money than had GGG fought Canelo in Vegas, and what Dchenko would have likely gotten paid for fighting Canelo. One will surely lose and stock drop, while Canelo can pick up a title against Andrade, and then face the winner of GGG-Dchenko.

Canelo is in a good position.

So why didn't Oscar put out a bid? He would have won it anyway possibly even with a small bid. Why didn't he do it?

Because Dchenko would have likely gotten more than they were willing to fork out for him.

Now Dchenko fights GGG, GGG likely gets the belt DLH told him to get, Canelo fights Andrade and likely wins, and GGG and Canelo fight in 2020.

All roads lead to Canelo. He owes no one any favors and likely unifies all the belts next year when he beats GGG again.

Apparently the six million dollar offer with perks was declined by Kathy Duva and Kovalev.

Do you know what Kovalev's guarantee was against Andre Ward? ZERO. Do you know what Kovalev's biggest fight purse has been. 2 million.

Had Kovalev accepted the 6 mil we would have had Canelo-Kovalev in September.

He was trying to make the Canelo fight, a harder fight
Canelo lowballed SD so that he could fight ... nobody?

Canelo even agreed to take less from DAZN specifically NOT to fight GGG again :deal:

Who is really wimping out here?

    El Pollo Rojo :gey:

Trying to make the fight by refusing to fight in Vegas where the venue was booked ?

Well, we know how GGG feels about Vegas by now. Canelo's home town, where the cooking is done. Whether he's right or wrong (and I obviously feel he's right) what's the harm in having a fight in MSG, for instance? I mean, if, as some other posters have claimed, Canelo "beat the mexican style" out of GGG, then he should have nothing to fear from fighting Golovkin at a neutral venue. You feel that Canelo beat GGG twice, and now you're saying he couldn't do it anywhere but Vegas? Really? You're not saying that, are you? I mean, GGG even offered to fight Canelo in the Azteca stadium IN MEXICO, ffs. That's how little he thinks of Vegas. :deal:

Canelo's home town is Guadalajara Mexico. Las Vegas is the Fight Capital of the World. Like it or not Vegas is where the biggest fights in Boxing Happen. It's also where the biggest boxing purses are due to the tax situation as well as the casino situation.

The fact of the matter is Canelo and GGG's first two fights were there. As a result of GGG not being awarded the decisions you and many of your comrades have declared Vegas inherently corrupt and incapable of giving a fair shake to GGG. Canelo has no problem fighting outside of Vegas he's done it many times. He fought at MSG last December. After defeating Jacobs, Canelo's promoter booked the venue for Sept 14 the site of Canelo's next fight however when approached GGG and his team appeared to want no part of that.

I wouldn't be against Canelo GGG happening in MSG, I really could care less where it is. But MSG may not have been available and it is unclear if GGG was ever serious about making the 3rd fight happen any time soon.

The way it's looking it's going to be Ramon El Salsaghetti next! He doesn't want to take a risk and lose out on another canelo payday.

GGG gets paid the same for fighting Rolls as he gets for fighting Canelo. It's his DAZN contract.

I wish people would stop going on about this imaginary "Canelo payday" because its getting old.

If Golovkin was a truly smart and devious guy he'd let Canelo keep running and fight as many second string fighters as he could as fast as he could, instead of being obsessed with revenge. But a guy like GGG didn't get to where he's gotten without having a mean streak, I guess.

Come on man, are we going to ignore he got caught cheating? Bringing the VADA stuff to defend Canelo sounds like a weak argument

It's no wonder he's ducking guys like Andrade, and Charlo... Lol... But in all seriousness GGGs purse would likely be higher if he fought Canelo and vice versa... He just wants that Canelo payday!

Are you going to ignore that he took a Hair Follicle test and it came back clean, that the lab director said the findings were so small they were consistent with consuming tainted meat, and that MX has a problem with clenbuterol in their beef? Most importantly, are you going to pretend that Canelo was not enrolled in VADA's 365 program when he beat Golovkin, Fielding, and Jacobs?
