Yeah that would have been the case, but Oscar ducked the purse bid instead.

I'm saying that canelo doesnt need the belt and that's because everybody knows that he's the champion. ABCDEFG organizations can say whatever. I you dont win to canelo, everybody will laught at you and your belts and canelo will continue making millions.

Canelo demanded a belt to golovkin because golovkin is no champion today, hence, he needs a belt. I see you understood.

Comes as no surprise, really: the IBF tend to extremely pedantic about their titleholders fulfilling their mandatory obligations.

Give it a rest man lol

Canelo whopped Jacobs and GGG, you know who they are? Derevyanchenko's daddy, and soon to be possible step mom.

Canelo is greater than any of the ABCs. He's the top dog at MW, Dchenko is a contender. Andrade is a much better scalp either way, and I don't think GBP will let Dchenko's team try and take from the companies piece of the pie.

Dchenko can go fight GGG for the belt, and earn their shot at Canelo afterwards.

Let's see who Alvarez fights next. If it will be Andrade, I will not complain then. But if he fights a Rocky Fielding type of opponent, he is a confirmed ducker once again.

Where did you get that? It was the California state criminalist that found the sulfur and calcium. So, in fact, there was evidence of plaster of Paris found in the wraps. Come on! Guys get crucified for much less evidence on this site.

Canelo demanded the belt so what you say don't mean ****. Caneo the boxer wants it. But a soon as he gets stripped of it little cheerleader like you come prancing in to say he doesn't need it. You know what that makes you? A ****ing hypocrite.

As for making millions. Meh. There are thousands upon thousands of professional athlete making millions more than me. I really don't give a ****. Unlike you bunch of fools who A side this. He deserves this BS.

Regardless of who he fights next, one thing doesn't change.

-He was willing to fight GGG, but GGG said no because it would have been in Vegas.
-He offered Kovalev three times his biggest payday at 6mil and a shot at super stardom, but Kovalev said it wasn't enough money.
-He offered to fight Derevyanchenko, but again, Chenko refused because he wanted bigger money. Note, Chenko is a fighter that has a loss to Canelo's most recent opponent, he also has no fan base, no belt, and was willing to fight GGG for 100K.

    That remains true.

Good man CJ,boxing has always been corrupt and will steal the dreams of young men who don't understand how it works.
sure you've seen that classic scene in the Brando film "On the waterfront" " I could've been a contender, but all I got was a one way ticket too Palookerville ".

    1. Alvarez wasn't willing to fight Golovkin because "he didn't want to make GGG any richer"
    2. Kovalev has a fight lined up, Yarde didn't want to step aside, so that was probably a bull**** offer
    3. Zero serious offer once again, otherwise GBP would have put out a bid. They didn't want to participate in the purse bid that shows their true intentions. Which were to avoid Derevy

I hope it comes out soon. My guess it was 750K, maybe 1 million, or it could have been much more. Either way that would be his biggest payday and a shot at becoming a star. My guess is they weren't confident enough to take that money despite it being the most he's gotten paid.

GBP has been taking less money as a company in most of the big fights. They took very little in the Cotto fight because Cotto was demanding 15 million plus PPV. GGG was demanding as much and more in each fight, and they paid Jacobs way more than what he's worth as well.

I think GBP probably wants to start getting their fair cut for putting these big fights together and weren't letting fighters like Kovalev and Dchenko ask for more than what their market value is. Just my guess though.
