Yep I reckon you're right. It's getting ridiculous with Canelo and AJ how fighters are demanding silly money that simply isn't there.
Wrong again. 1. Alvarez wasn't going to allow GGG to continue to act like a little diva. GGG had already gotten paid much more than his market value twice, demanded the mega pay day or no fight, GGG also didn't let Canelo use the gloves of his choice, GGG also had to approve the ref, GGG also had to approve the judges for the rematch, and now GGG doesn't want to let Canelo choose the location, despite Canelo being the star, the A side, and the champion. GGG can go and fight Dchenko and get a belt and then wait in line for a turn. 2. Kovalev was offered Six million dollars. That's Six times more than what he was guaranteed against Ward and three times more his biggest payday. Had he accepted Canelo would be fighting him in Sept. and had Kovalev won he would have made much more in the rematch and very likely every fight until he retired. 3. Neither you nor I know what the offer was, but anything higher than what he's made in the past is a great offer. He's unknown, he has no titles, just lost to the man Canelo just beat, and Canelo offers him a chance at stardom. Even a generation ago fighters would jump at the opportunity to fight the face of boxing withot crying much about the purse, this is a new generation full of entitled fighters and GGG is definitely one of them.
GGG needs to tell Fishnets & the ginger headed chubby cherub to take a long walk off a short pier. His legacy is set the whole boxing world rate GGG as the #1 middleweight The Peoples Champion who was robbed of his titles by a fake champion & a cross dresser backed up by the State Commission
Ali and his team cheated against George Foreman loosening the ropes and cheated in the first fight with Henry Cooper by tearing Ali's glove open. But I thought you said you didn't support cheaters?!
Neither of those are true actually Angelo Dundee tightened the ropes for the Foreman fight Also Ali's glove was already split Angelo put his finger in it & made it worse then called the ref gave Ali a few extra seconds to recover He told us this a few years ago at the Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota
He was willing to fighg GGG for 100K. Canelo is a much harder fighg for most. He's way too versatile. GGG is much more basic.
sad to say both Angelo and Ali have both passed they are the only ones can verify what Angelo told me
D/ya know I just realized Canelo doesnt hold a LEGITIMATE World Middleweight Title now. The bogus cherub only has the stolen ones When the IBF stripped Ginger I'll bet Fishnets put a few ladders in his black fishnet tights & broke a heel on his red high heel shoes having a tantrum & Ginger just looking lost ROFL poor little Ginger
