They certainly don't prefer them. In fact, casuals fetishizing heavyweights and prioritizing them at every other division's expense is a large part of why boxing on "free TV" was dead for so long, because that stupid myth of the sport living or dying by its premiere heavyweights persisted for so long.. The best quality stuff wasn't getting the highest billing.

The same universe that gave him the decision over a lazy Fury who clowned and toyed the banana boy

BTW, you're almost wrong in your scoring. Don't even know why you try.

Coming from somebody whom a quick check reveals has posted just two dozen times since 2016, half of those just to nuthug Poles.

Hmm, not an unreliable narrator or anything..

And you can also add a few unbeaten (at the time) guys he's faced in their prime: Kov, Alvarez. Bivol, Froch.

Chris threw almost 1200 punches, he doesn't deserve a wide UD loss like these. This was a great brawl and he broke his left hand, scores from 116-112 would be fine for each of them tbh...

I like Kownacki but I feel as though this fight did not help his credentials. Don't get me wrong, it was a very entertaining fight but I would have thought AK would have taken CA out by the 8th or so. But clearly, he lost steam in the last 3 rounds. As to Chris breaking his hand, don't know if any of you followed his departure from the arena heading to the locker room but he was shaking hands with both his left and right hand. Seems a bit odd to do if your hand is broken. Earlier he said in his corner he hurt his knuckle. I guess we'll hear later.

Either way, kudos to both guys. They put on a good show.

I thought he won 3-4 rounds. He certainly didn’t win more.

Had a half marathon today so I just watched it but I felt Kownacki won 118-110? Great effort from Arreola but I only gave him the last 2 rounds. Great wins for Omotoso and Pascal as well.

Kownacki throws in bunches and throws his combos in a fast and fluid way most HWs of today can't. Couple that with his seemingly good chin and people should be excited for him to be a reasonably good opponent to the top HWs of today. But the fans on this board care more about muscles, a name they can pronounce and hype, showing all the symptoms of casuals.
