I think he can definitely continue and give guys a lot of problems, I can’t see him winning a world title but he can take the likes of Kownacki and miller the distance competitively. If he hadn’t hurt his hand in the 5th things may have gone a different way

I still feel sorry for him after working his way up to get that title shot against vitali only to get smashed for 12 rounds and crying at the end

Don’t hang them up just yet Chris, the fans still love you and this new shape you are in shows you still have plenty to give

If the money is there how about arreola vs Joyce?

I really like Arreola, he seems like a genuinely nice dude. His toughness is unquestioned, there's nothing left to prove. He's married with 2 kids. I think he's had enough, he's now 38 and has been through some wars and taken lots of punishment. I hope he follows through on his word to retire if he lost. Enough is enough, I'm sure his daughters would rather have a mentally coherent dad, than have some extra money in their college fund. Just my opinion though.

Proud of Cristobal, no need to retire just yet.

    Bring on Stiverne trilogy.

Crispy Kreme Arreola won't retire, you watch... He said he'd definitely retire if he lost this fight...

At the right level Chris is a fun watch. If he wants to continue on he could make a decent go of it at the lower end world level. Guys like Breazale, Price, Martin, Washington, and Helenius would make for fun winnable fights that would go a long way to filling out undercards.

Arreola looked better than I thought he would, or maybe Adam isn't all that. Either way he needs to retire

Price must be the fighter most touted as a potential opponent ever on this site. People would seemingly watch him fight anyone.

I'd say he should retire. I like him and respect him. He's taken a lot of punishment over the years. With his fighting style, that comes with the territory.

I'd like to see the guy retire with his faculties intact. He has nothing more to prove. He is not in line for a title shot. Retire while he can still recite the alphabet.

So what's the plan here. Let me guess he will get a title shot for the regular WBA trinket vs. Oquendo.

Wouldn't mind seeing Cristobal as the first challenger for Sugar Robert Helenius' WBA Gold title.

Arreola and Ruiz are in talks apparently. Will be interesting to see who comes in fatter when this bout takes place.
