Jones looked as quick as a welterweight, so which guys from 135-154 were actually quicker than him? I`m not talking P4P either.

Their have been plenty fighters between 130-145 that probably was faster than Jones at Jr. Middle/ Middle. Kid Gavilan was super fast, so was Ortiz, I,Laguna, J.Napoles, in his prime, H.Davis Jr. Prime R.Robinson, prime Leonard, M.Taylor, Camacho Sr. Lightning L.Smith, Deloyhoya at lightweight, P.Whitaker, D.Curry at welter, T.Norris, T.Hearns at welter, (Jones had better foot speed though) since the fighters I've named were naturally lighter than Jones of course they probably were faster. It's not a knock against prime Jones Ungodly quickness and speed for his weight class.

What made Jones special was his power to go with his quickness. That was uncommon.

Yes, just re-checked Hearns v Leonard `81 and both were quicker than Jones, Leonard also looked better than Jones looked v Gonzales, that was the Jones fight I re-checked to see his speed.

A lot of fighters listed were not noticeably faster than Jones at all. Most weren't faster imo. Even is a few were slightly faster when talking about handspeed, they'd still be slower in a p4p sense
