Wtf guy looks emaciated. How tall is he? Certainly doesn’t look like a heavyweight in that angle.

 

Not that I was expecting a big name but disappointing to see this fella it’s ranked behind Lartey who Dubois just destroyed before he destroyed Gorman.

Wouldnt be surprised for an opponent change coming up also. They struggled to get Lartey a visa let alone someone worse.

I get move Dubois along slowly but this guys the 79th best Commonwealth fighter (for reference Kash Ali is 34th) and not even on the first page on Boxrec. Surely they could have stuck him in with a Leapai, Ruann Visser or Simon Kean. I reckon they was actually lining up Alex Dickinson but Sokolowski put piad to that.

 

Not even sure he's a legit heavy. He's only fought 4 people with winning records so this should be an easy and short nights work. To be honest Larty and Gorman have been decent tests. So a quick blow out grab another belt (does the commonwealth mean much anymore) and on he goes

I guess it's a useful enough belt if they're running with the 'every belt' gimmick. Which I'm fine with. Assumption would be that they go for the European next, then some sort of WBO interim world thing and then probably never get a title shot ever

in what other sport would a top class prospect follow up a fine win to take the British title with a fight against someone ranked 378 in the world who has never fought outside Ghana ? Utterly pointless for the fighter and the fans.

Bbbofc need to make a rule that fighters in the top 50 are not allowed to fight anyone ranked outside 200 unless they are coming back from a ko loss or something along those lines
