First fury and now Dubois, what is this? Announce you’re fighting a bum month?

I think Frank wants some highlight reel KOS for Dubois and at the same time, he can hold up a new belt, whilst still developing him.

This is quite a poor fight on paper, but I understand what he’s doing.

Hopefully he gives him another step up opponent in December or whenever he’s out next.

 

I think basically over the next 18-24 months we will see Dubois move to 20(19)-0 with not much fuss and then they’ll step him up.

 

Disappointing, but not a surprise; I can give fish eyes a pass on this one for the Gorman fight.

Dubois seemed progress well following the Johnson fight- I hope in the future they can bring in some durable opponents to give the lad some ring time.

 

I don’t see Dubois stepping up until the summer of 2021.

He needs to build up more ranking points, face different styles before being thrown in with anyone seriously threatening at top 10 level. Also I would like to see him fight in the states once too, as it would be a good experience.

There isn’t any rush either as he will be only 23 by July 2021.

If that were possible all that would happen is boxrec would make some money taking 'suggestions' from promoters as to who should be and who should not be in their top 200...
