Saunders didn’t want it at first then was fat as **** and out of shape for second half of 2016 and first half of 2017. Saunders held the belt hostage stopping Golovkin from becoming undisputed.

He also thinks the majority of boxing fans believe he didn't dope and that he's p4p the best fighter in the world. He's wrong on all counts.

Saunders is on record as not wanting it for a long time. He then thought he was ready/Golovkin slipped and made some dumb career choices but you're right in saying he's a tough fight for anyone at 160. I think he causes both Golovkin and Canelo massive problems - the difference being the judges will score his work a lot more against the guy from Kazakhstan.

Canelo never did sign a contract, but apparently the third fight is in the DAZN / GGG contract, DAZN thought they could force Canelo into it.

BTW even if it is not in writing it is almost certainly legally binding if it can be proven that the fight was promised verbally.

I doubt thats ever been the case in boxing. Different ball game. How many times do you see guys getting sued when they pull out of a fight or renege on an agreement?
If what you are saying is true , Billy could have sued Golovkin for selecting Canelo. Both Billy and GGG had contracts drawn up for a fight , they weren't signed by Golovkin therefore it was just a piece of paper and not legally binding!

Breach of promise is where you can sue someone for "broken promises" or breach of contract (either verbal/written, as in promise to marry. granted its unlikey that you will ever have come across this ...just feint relief from poor girl/boy you thick mutt....

It looks like Oscar promised DAZN the trilogy behind Canelo's back, which is one of a few reasons why Canelo's fed up with them.

If DAZN can't play peacemaker to get GGG - Derevyenchenko and the trilogy made, it's going to get real ugly financially for all parties but Canelo.
