If it's in Saudi Arabia Joshua will look like the Hulk on fight night.

I am loving Ruiz’s attitude to this. Proper champ.

I did, good on the lad :)

I’ve just seen the dialogue for his interview with Sky. Not sure if anyone else noted this, but the big thing that jumped out for me was AJ saying he had to get his passion back for boxing!!??? I was shocked at this and it’s just my opinion but that would explain the body language back on June 1st and it would also explain him spitting out the gum shield and not wanting it anymore.

Let that line sink in, ‘get my passion back for boxing’....if that’s where he is right now, mentally, then he needs to knock it on the head and disappear for a while. If that passion still doesn’t come back after a long break then he should quit. You can’t box at the highest level without passion imo.

100% agreed. Anthony is clearly burnt out mentally and emotionally. The Hearnz are there though, reminding him of "contractual obligations"...

Joshua will have to eat those words and a lot of stay humble pie for comments like that if Ruiz beats him again.

I do lean towards Joshua winning the rematch, but only slightly. It's a fight he still has a good chance of losing and he knows it. I do believe the psychology of it all will play a big part in this fight, Joshua has all the tools to beat Ruiz, but we don't know if there's mental scars from the defeat, the manner of the defeat and the shock and the come-down after. He's been saying all the right things since the loss (until the get the passion back comments) but because his image is so polished, he's hard to read at times. Maybe he is still super confident and thinks the first fight was a fluke, but he must have doubts at least. I'm really looking forward to the fight actually. It has that 'anything could happen' feel to it.

This back and forth just shows they are nowhere near an agreement.

    #cherrypickgonewrong is hilarious lol

It is no wonder AJs team ducked Wilder so badly if he aint got the passion for boxing.....Can you imagine what Wilder would do when he smells AJs blood....

That whole duck this time last year was an embarrassment and what then made is even more cringe was once the public started turning was the halfhearted 'offer' by AJ/Matchroom to Wilder THAT HE ACCEPTED LOL

It has been a shocking year for the whole AJ team

Don’t think it gets announced before Campbell v Loma.

They’ll probably announce the signing of BJS first though?
