The basically vetoed all the fights golden boy wanted to make and refused to let golden boy upon the purse to Kovalev! Then they had an agreements with Andrade and they said no! Only Kovalev snd ggg. Then gb tries to renegotiate with Kovalev only to get snubbed. Then this deveranchenko fiasco where again the negotiation skills of Golden boy are laughed at and deverenchennko not only still fights for the title but gets paid more. They had a 30 window to apply for an exemption that they never did. Canelo is leaving golden boy and is thinking of joining top rank! BIG MISTAKE! look for him to apply for a promoters license as well!!!!
No way he leaves GBP... Who would he sign with? All big name Latino fighters fight under GBP. That's how its always been...his fans would turn on him, it would be a slap in the face to all the fans who supported him and made him rich
Are you affiliated with GBP? Oscar himself? I just can't imagine how anyone not affiliated with GBP can suggest that Canelo's fans will turn on him if he leaves GBP. That's just plain absurd.
Yea it’s silly to think that fans will turn on him for leaving his promotional company. I couldnt care which banner fighters fight under.
I think GB has done a lot for Canelo, but at this point there is no trust left between them. And that's not healthy and cannot be fixed, so Canelo should leave Oscar.
If he does leave GBP then he will experience a lot of loses to follow as no more under the table from GBP to them corrupted judges
FYI canelo is not set under a contract with golden boy! Meaning that if there is reasonable belief that gbp has sabotaged canelos career because negligence he will leave. Apparently they met on Monday and the meeting did not end the way Oscar wanted.
