Either Callum Smith at SMW or Canelo/GGG or even Andrade at MW. He's already beaten Eubank Jr and will do again even more convincingly if they fought again and I don't even hate Eubank Jr that much. Eubank Jr just isn't that good.

TBF it would have to be more convincing because if its only as convincing as the last one he surely doesnt get the W...

ffs he didnt deserve the win the 1st time around, do u have dementia?

I guess Canelo must have beat GGG into bolivion because he beat GGG more convincing
Khan looked more convincing vs Crawford for the 1st 10 seconds too lol

I know Eubank is your boy but no, I don't have dementia, Saunders won. He dominated, making Eubank swing like a wild drunk at times whilst picking him off with the jab until he began to gas which bought Eubank into the fight but he had done enough by then.

He’s obsessed with Junior. He went very quiet and pretty much disappeared when Groves dealt with him, but now he’s right back on that Junior train now haha.

The Lemieux fight was nearly 2 years ago, it wasn't actually that amazing either, beating a fighter passed his best by boxing clever, it was hardly Calzaghe vs Lacy. He looks like a simple d**khead, which isn't all his fault, then he acts like a simple d**khead and suddenly the looks, the dress sense, it all ties in and he looks like even more of a simple d**khead. I can't take to the man, I've tried to but the fact that he's not actually a true fighting man means that I can't, because that's the only thing he had going for him, that he could be a very, very good boxer.

Just to add some context, nobody was saying Lemieux was past his best before the fight and many believed that Saunders was gonna get chinned and was selling his belt. It was a fantastic performance and he boxed his head off and humiliated Lemieux in front of his home crowd.

Unfortunately for Saunders, as good a performance as it was, it isn’t worthy of a career defining fight and he needs to have one sharpish.

Best thing Junior has done is getting his Dad out of the ring while he's in it. Can't remember which fight it was but between rounds Senior was stood about 10 feet away from Junior just staring at his son and not saying anything. The man is a loon.

Whilst I believe that Saunders would beat Eubank Jr if they fought again, I would certainly prefer it rather than some Euro fighter with an inflated record or a fighter brought up in weight and brought in by Hearn etc for the sake of it.
Problem is with Hearn as we all know, he probably sees a Saunders vs Eubank Jr fight as a 3rd fight in a 3 fight Saunders contract PPV.

Saunders beat Eubank but it was still close enough that there would be intrigue in a rematch. I remember thinking at the time it was about a 7-5 win for Saunders, but a really clear 7-5 if that makes sense. Also Eubank was very raw. Yes Saunders was hardly a seasoned pro at the time either, but he'd been in with the likes of Blackwell, O'Sullivan, Ryder which were significant steps up from the level Eubank had been operating at.

The problem as ever with any debate on Saunders is that whilst to me there seems little doubt that if the Saunders who turned up against Akavov, Lee, Monroe or Isufi turns up that Eubank could cause him problems, it often seems the case that we are inevitably brought back to the notion that the 'real' Saunders is the one who beat Lemieux.

It's a fight I'd like to see too. I do like Junior and he's possibly come on a little bit with the jab and output and I think he can take Saunders at 168lb. Pre the De G weigh in he said he would weigh 167 at the weigh in as well as on the night and that was his frame maxed out. If you look at the pic of Eubank and BJS facing off at their weigh in, Eubank does look drawn at 159.

As much as I wouldn't mind seeing him fight junior it just seems ridiculous that a guy as talented as Billy Joe, a world champion and clearly up there with the best has yet to have a career defining fight.

He should be fighting canelo, GGG or andrade level guys not eubank jnr.
