Guy has skills. Joshua should stay away. He needs to drop atleast 25 lbs of muscle. Needs to quit those worthless strength training exercises and do more boxing. Loosen up.
    Lol
Guy is way too stiff to beat Ruiz. You gonna be waiting for mike hunter if you want ruiz beaten.

If Joshua knew what was best for him he wouldn’t want ruiz at all right now.

I think it's just damage limitation at this stage from the Joshua camp. They know if the rematch doesn't take place in the UK they'll look a bit foolish. In the same interview, Joshua said he would be willing to fight Ruiz anywhere - that's planting the seed already.

It depends what the contract explicitly states - something which none of us know. I really think though that if it was as Hearn originally implied (Joshua camp and MR get to choose rematch location) - it would be done by now. No reason for it to be taking so long otherwise.

I just think it's very strange for Ruiz to be so definite about it if everything was still to be decided. It's the first time that either side had been definite about anything - so I think it's significant.

Foolish? If the rematch doesn't take place in the UK that would be brave and commendable. On the contrary, if it's in the UK (where it will be), it will be obvious that AJ (especially after all those "willing to fight Ruiz anywhere talks") needs home advantage to beat Ruiz. The support of the UK fans, and maybe even something else, that's not available to him in America... :cool1:
It could be just that DAZN is not happy about it. They need the fight in the US time zones. And if it's in the UK, even if the main fight is at midnight, it will be just from 4 to 7 pm in America. Not the perfect time, especially in the summer. And boxing fans usually prefer to watch undercard fights as well.

Foolish from Hearn due to all his bravado about it being in the UK.

Agree about DAZN - Hearn, Matchroom and Joshua will have lots of companies trying to pull them one way or another. Think if Hearn bends to DAZN's wishes it could be a watershed moment for his relationship with Sky.

Maybe because Ruiz knows he'd have to KO Joshua to get a draw in the UK.

They should have the fight at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh. The fact i live 5 mins away is in no way a reason why I'm suggesting this. And we've got loads of snickers here.

Joshua has finally accepted Ruiz is the champ, Ruiz has the belts, Ruiz calls the shots, Ruiz is the A side.

I remember some funny guys on here saying AJ still called the shots haha.

What do you mean? In Japan or Asia, maybe. But I doubt too many people will buy tickets if the fight is in the UK and at 3 or 4 am.
