Boxnation , the future , is it dead ?

Apparently mtk own ifl now and If they were paying Frank to air their shows maybe they just think their better off putting it on their yt/ifl channel.

 

I'm amazed its still going after losing Warren cards. And then ITV started showing some cards on itv 4. And Sky taking matchroom usa cards and some others like Wilder and world boxing super series etc etc.

The only people still subscribing to it must have not checked their outgoings in a while or SUCH hardcore fans they are willing to pay £12 a month or whatever it is for cards nobody cares about.

 

Bit like Orient beating Tranmere in terms of quality mate.

The card of the year by a mile was the WBSS in Glasgow.

 

We've declared it dead many times then it picks up loads of cards out of nowhere. They can keep it active and run it cheaper quite easily. It doesn't need all the studio stuff really, just the fights with commentary over the top. Lilis and Steadman can't be expensive and they're actually pretty decent at it. Doubt they'll be able to get the bigger fights now but I'm content with the DiBella cards and the European ones (especially the Russian ones).

 

Frank really is an idiot. For years he was moaning about Eddie putting fights on PPV, so he went and got OFCOM involved, whinging and moaning to them like a big crybaby about how he wants in on the Sky PPV red button cashcow too and how Eddie isnt the boss of Sky Box Office. Correct he's not in control of Sky Box Office but Sky Sports Box Office, with regards to boxing events on there, everything has to go through Eddie.

Warren made a big hoohaa about that, got George Warren to do an IFL video as well about how they can do the red button PPV now and how Eddie has been lying to fighters saying that you need him to get on Sky Sports Box Office (which is true) and how Boxnation subscribers wont be affected at all etc etc. Then the silly senile facker goes and forgets all about that and signs a deal with BT, moves all his fighters over there and puts fights on PPV straightaway.

Who can forget the sourpuss whinging about Stubhub for years on end and now apparantly he is using Stubhub too.

 

It is much worse the past 2 years mate in my opinion.

It'll be cheap as Hell. Perfectly content for them to show stuff like this. Kevin Lerrena is fighting Seferi soon too so I except they'll have that. Some of those SA cards haven't been too bad
