    Had Stevenson not suffered a TBI, taken some time off and had a tune up before fighting Pascal in Nov-Dec who would you pick? Right now a very competitive fight based on what both have shown at world level with maybe a slight edge to Stevenson based on being competitive with The Nail but it's hard to envision him being the same after a KO like that. Plus h2h it's my belief that Pascal always had his number. Great fight that unfortunately never happened but all things considered almost certainly would have happened in the near future had tragedy not struck.

    Stevenson was a lot fresher. He might have been old but had rarely taken any punishment.
    Pascal has been on the slide for a while now.
    Stevenson would have had to have been the clear favorite.

    :lol: I love the fact that BoxRec still has Stevenson listed as :"active". Surprising how no one thought to change that.

    Reasonable post. Stevenson definitely showed that he had more at the top level against The Nail but that doesn't necessarily mean that he'd get through Pascal. Who stylistically poses a lot of issues for him even though as said has more miles and on the slide for much longer despite being the younger fighter.

    Stevenson up through 2017 would've outboxed and hurt Pascal enough to keep him off balance and to take a decision.

    Id say pascal by ko, we dont know what condition Adonis is in after the coma gvodsyk have him so if the fight was made now id go pascal.

    Steveson was never knocked out cold
    vs boone he got up at 6
    vs Gvosdyk he was in a sitting position
    vs Fonfara he was up at 4.

    he can walk
    and he can talk normally
    he'll never be allowed to box again even if they had proof he was just as good as before.

    I don't remember editing anything at all. I said nothing about Stevenson being knocked out. All I said was that he was old.
