I don’t think Foreman has ever been a full-time trainer and I doubt he wants to be one now, but in the past kind of like Joe Louis, who sometimes would take an interest in certain fighters and asked to be invited to camp some fighters from the past have mentioned Foreman doing that in the 80’s.

Bonecrusher Smith mentioned Foreman earlier in his career visiting his camp and that Foreman made helpful suggestions on how he should move around the ring and to be more selective with his punches, since with his size and power it wasn’t necessary to throw a lot of punches waste energy moving around too much.

RIght. Let’s see Joshua “Set Up” Ruiz by taking bombardment for several rounds to set up the one kill shot

Foreman may be older but he can contribute. A fighter does not a trainer make. However, I would rather have someone in my corner that has been in the trenches and I have faith in. Belief in one's self is more important than training advice...imo. This may be what Joshua needs at this point. He did not display it in the Ruiz fight. At this point there are two things....the techniques and strategies....and the mental toughness required to win ...regardless. This is more valuable than all the rest. Puncture a whole in the opponents techniques/game plan and he is nothing if he does not have the mental fortitude to fall back on. This may be what Joshua is looking for.

He offered to train AJ straight after his loss to Ruiz.

I will agree that it would have been much easier against Moorer to do this for AJ.

Ruiz was too well drilled for the crap McCracken was speaking, AJ was asking for help and all he got was vague advice, McCraken doesn`t know how far boxing has moved on since he boxed.

AJ will have to be on the backfoot in this one, Ruiz is too fast and too good on the inside.

I guess he is never too old to make some money. If AJ gets KOed again Foreman would be like: oops!
