That's how I see it too. The Terrell fight is a good comparison.

Yep everytime I see Fury fight, he reminds me of Ernie Terrell even though he looks nothing like him and fights nothing like him either.

Fury wilder and aj would ko ali in such a devastating way that most of you idiots on this forum would go for a 12 hour cry session. There is literally no sport in the world were athlets 50 years ago could compete in any way with todays athletes and it so damm unlikely that boxing as one of the most demanding sports in terms of speed, power and reflexes is any exception to that.

Just thinking a Prime George Foreman would give Tyson huge problems....Fury's chin would be tested Big Time....then remember a Prime 24 year old Monster in Foreman being TKOd by a 33 Year old past it Ali..and in a long Career of over 70 fights it was the only time Big George was TKOd......and People say a very slow predictable easy to hit Tyson Fury would be to much for Ali.....Get Out Of Here.!!!!

I would expect prime Ali to beat Wilder although in Fury's defense he was at 80% and he did actually beat Wilder. Ali would probably have trouble with Fury's length just like WK did altho prime Ali has the ability to mix it up more and check his rhythm. I suspect close SD either way.

Look at these Ali cultists embarrassing themselves.

Ali would be around the size of Cunningham, but with less muscle, and probably less power too. He would be a very small heavy now. He could pose some problems just like Cunningham did because of the smaller size and speed, but ultimately Fury could just go to plan B with him just like he did with Cunningham, use his size and strength to maul and destroy, due to the fact the firepower coming back wasn't enough to deter him (unless walking forward with his chin out). It's different if Ali has the power of someone like Haye at HW, because you can keep big men off, but Ali was no power puncher, so he'd be fcked here.

But the truth is, Fury might not need to go to 'plan B' with Ali because Fury could outbox him from range no doubt. It's possible (actually likely considered the pattern in sport development) Cunningham is actually a better boxer skillwise than Ali was and that Fury would have a far easier time with Ali.

Clowns think Ali has some kind of special magic to overcome any opponent. He doesn't. If he had big power you could have your fantasy match-ups against modern super heavies and always give him a shot, but without that he is going to get smashed to pieces by the skilled big boys who have every advantage in size, strength, reach and power and probably more refined skills in the modern era. If you're being kind, the exception might be fighters known to gas who he might 'out grind', but Fury is not one of those. Fury would break him down, taunting him the whole time, it would be poetry to watch. Even funnier would be watching Wlad 'Eddie Chamber' him cold with a leaping left hook that would make Frazier's hook seem middleweight-esque.

bull. Praytell these "advances",i think we are discovering as we go that the old school were correct when they said not to overdo the weight training, also in my country theres athletic records that are nearing 60 yrs old.
