AJ will have Horse With No Name playing on a loop while preparing for the mexican dynamite.

Never thought of that. Having it in Saudi just got a lot more appealing.

Further irony: it’s by a band called America.

at 9:10 he states it again "I always remember after the fight with Klitschko I never want to be in a slugfest again and here I am in it with Ruiz and trying to find a way back".

I don't think these vids are doing him any favours at all. They may please some fans but Ruiz must be rubbing his hands together listening to this.

AJ can't fight hurt. It's as simple as that. All that muscle turns to heavy rock and he can't move nor think with any purpose. All you gotta to do beat him is hurt him and then jump all over him. He was let off the hook in previous fights but Ruiz has the hand speed and the brain to land the right shots.

“I can beat ‘most’ top heavyweights”.

It seemed pretty clear in that interview that Joshua doesn’t consider Ruiz a top heavyweight. I think he’s put it down in his head as a fluke. I’d be made up with that talk if I was Manny Robles.

Saudi sticking up 20 million for a horse race.

Clearly on a good PR hunt after murdering the journo last year.

There's some opinion that AJ should shed a few pounds and work off the jab and keep him at bay. Maybe another way is to do the opposite. Atm AJ looks like he's got about 3 rounds in him, so come in heavy at 260+, guns blazing at 70-80 punches and try to get rid of Andy early. Kownacki was averaging 87 per round in his last one and that's a 12 rounder. There should be no reason AJ can't put together 3 big rounds and after that if Andy is still standing, fair enough.

I find Kownacki’s punch output very suspicious. He’s got a fair bit of timber on him though so it’s not like he’s muscle bound. Wouldn’t surprise me if it turns out he’s on the juice.

Joshua fights in bursts, he’s very methodical and is very careful how he paces himself...I believe, because he knows that he can gas like Round 5 in Klitschko fight if he goes all out.

Yeah and a new compubox record for that fight and outrageous punch stats. I had the same thought about his body make up but with the heavies and PEDS, who knows these days.

One big flurry and AJ is out on his feet. He's learned to pace himself alright but had to fight Ruiz off him which only made him gas more. That pressure fighting he can't handle which goes to show how much the brit referees helped him.

Fingers crosses he ain't got a brit/corrupt ref saving his arse every exchange in the rematch.

This and also fact that he said no to the Joshua fight because he was out of shape... Yeah right.

Same with Ortiz, very suspicious even though I rate him highly.

One of the best heavyweights in the world but if he gets through this rematch, he needs to stay away from small, mobile, pressure fighters because he seriously struggles with them. Usyk for example would be a nightmare for him. No wonder Usyk really wants the fight.

Very true. Ortiz, Whyte & Kownacki all saying no and with Whyte’s recent UKAD fail, I think we can all presume why.
