    A. Everybody on the planet has watched Ruiz's only win over a ranked opponent.
    B. What could I learn from watching him beat up some non entity?

I have seen Ruiz fights and I have no real idea where this makes him quit business comes from. Just because he quit against Louis doesn't mean everyone can make him quit, he was also injured in that fight.

I'll give you a few examples. Sonny Liston quit against Ali (whilst injured), does that mean that he would quit against Jack Dempsey?
Roberto Duran quit against Ray Leonard, does that mean he'd quit against Lomachenko?

No and No. That's the same situation here. It could possibly happen, but no more possible than any other fight these guys have.

Interesting matchup, I'd pick Baer to beat him but it's far from given. Doubt that Ruiz could stop Maxie to be honest.

If Ruiz tries to brawl with the much tougher chinned Baer, he's gonna find he's on the canvas more than once

He has MUCH faster hands than Baer and throws in actual combos not front hand/back hand swings. A brawl slightly opens the window for Max but still suits the very aggressive and more skilled, more talented Ruiz.

Baer hits harder and takes a hit better. Baer is probably more talented that Ruiz as well, just that Ruiz developed a better skillset. Ruiz cannot outbox Baer's quick hands and incredible reach. He cannot fight with Baer's strength and toughness.

Ruiz can't outbox Baer? Is outboxing Baer something you perceive as difficult? Baer has faster hands than Ruiz? Really? I see it as the opposite.

Baer was slow twitch, lacked balance and was thin boned. Ruiz is a fast twitch specimen. And he didn't have too many problems with Joshua's reach or power.

    A bitterly relentless beat down.

I agree with this but I'd like to interject the fact that outboxing Baer and beating Baer are two very different things.

Do you hear yourself??? Specimen? Ruiz is fat as ****, unathletic. He happens to have good handspeed and was trained well. Baer was an ACTUAL specimen. A narrow waist, with a broad V taper and lean muscle. A good chin and terrific power that he was BORN WITH. He wasn't what I'd call "small boned" with an 8" wrist and a 44" (unexpanded) chest. ((That's bigger than Foreman's and Ali's)). Hell, Ruiz looked gassed after the 3rd round of his fight with AJ, Baer clearly leads in stamina

Slow twitch??? Have you seen Baer fight? If he wanted to he could wing that right real quick.

I've seen both train. It's pretty apparent that Baer is the more athletic of the two. Probably the stronger of the two as well.

I disagree with every word of this post.

BTW, did you see that right hand Ruiz ate and spit out within seconds of getting KD'd by Joshua. Do you want to talk sh*t on his chin?

Ruiz is all smooth fast twitch, natural and fluid, thick jointed and unstriated.

Baer is a show pony. Like Joshua

I never said Ruiz's chin is bad, I said Baer's is better
