I can't wait for these threads to (hopefully) disappear once Ruiz Jr. gets knocked out and back down to reality.
I think Ruiz is an excellent fighter, but a shorter swarmer having to get after George Foreman is not going well.
The only problem is Joshua has about half the ring experience Foreman had when he was champion in the 70’s and Foreman was a way more polished fighter. That said Ruiz could always take a punch and wouldn’t go down without putting up a fight, but against Foreman Ruiz coming in at 250+ lbs would work against him as the fight progressed in the later rounds and Foreman would take him out.
Not at All. Are boy Dillian would crush Ken Norton, Wilder would sparkle Jimmy Young and Fury would outbox 70s Ali. People like Ernie Shavers shouldn't be favoured against the 3 but has a chance, although I'd pick all 3, and Ruiz, to KO Shavers. I'd pick all 4 to beat Ron Lyle.
Big George had a bigger punch, bigger heart, better chin, and better resume than AJ. He is a top 3 or 4 all-time H2H HW.
Stop insulting the greats by comparing them to Andy Ruiz. Andy should be compared to people of this generation he hasn't fought like Luis Ortiz, Povetkin, and Big Baby Miller.
Not sure about a shut out, comeback Foreman spans a long time 87-97, an entering prime Holyfield lost several rounds in 91. Later 90s George would be easier to out point.
